Uncharted will have a hard time getting AAA

Sorry cows but im goung to have to agree with the TC. I coudn't even fin the demo because I got kinda bored with it.:?anotherhaloguy1

The good in the game from what I took from the demo was very good graphics, kinda witty and funny characters, but the bad and the bad is going to hurtthe game is slow gameplay, and horrible A.I. The slow gameplay compared to halo 3 or COD4 just put me to sleep. The shooting system stinks and it really has a slow feel overall. Slow developing and lack of innovative design will do the game in. The A.I where the guys you are fighting do these stupid slide step dances over and over will get annoying as well. Overall the games beauty is the eye candy, and the funny off beat humor, but the gameplay will hold this game from being AAA and we know it. Worth a rental, I guess cows will have to wait some more for AAAE.

Man this guy hasnt even layed the demo and is full of it. Just from the comments u made of the AI being bad and funny characters? Man get the hell out of here wit your bs. This guy is fakeboy and has never played the demo, and why are u even comparing it to COD4? I mean this isnt a first person shooter game and no one said this game was better then gears, they just said the truth and that is this game looks better graphically then gears and it is. This game is dead gorgeous and is truelly a next gen expirience, and a must buy on day one. I don't expect uncharted to get AAA as well, but just because its a single player game doesn't mean it has no replay value.

For those who are saying Uncharted isn't going to have replay value...

Now onto the original poster. You couldnt of been more wrong about a things you just said. Did you say slow??? Im sorry that games like halo3 are the most realistic gun battles you'll ever have. The game is far from slow. Im not seeing what the problem was with the shooting system. If my 5 year old cousin can play it then I just feel sorry for you. Hmm. We must of playing a different game because when I played the AI was really smart. For instance:

There was a guy hiding behingawall and I kept trying to shoot him when he popped out. So the enemy actually slinked around to the other side and caught me off guard and almost killed me.

There was one time an enemy was behind a tall pillar and he actually slowly creeped his head out to see were I was at. I tried to shoot him but I kept missing. So I kept my gun pointed to where I thought he would stand out. But instead he layed prone to the ground and started shooting at me. Which I thought was impressive. Even in the short period of time I played it. The AI was very smart.

Last time ND said that Uncharted would support Trophies, but unfortunately Home got delayed so ND had to think of something else to keep gamers playing some more (I'm assuming).

also i don't get people comparing this game to COD4 or Halo 3 or whatever, the game is nothing like any of those games, and though it uses the cover system from gears it's more like Resident Evil 4 than gears, it's like if Resident Evil had a cover system... that said, Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games, but even then if i judged it on that first part where you enter the town i'd say the game wasn't all that great, good but not really great... also the AI isn't dumb, they crouch, charge, very good at throwing grenades, they even crawl... i've played the demo 3 times already and each time the enemy did something different

so we'll see what the reviews are like, anything said before that is pretty much people with very active imaginations (like much of SW)

We all know gs is biased, but they can't ignore this game, then it will be far too obvious...

Well Uncharted isn't exactly a FPS now is it. Its not a shooter of any type, its a action-adventure game. Thats like saying the shooting in GTA was bad compared to Halo.

there weren't supposed to be puzzles in halo 3... it's a fps in a war. no puzzles, just killing... play half life if you want puzzles.

Uncharted is NOT a shooter , its an action adventure game. You can not compare it to COD4 cause it ain another category.

bioshock was 20-30 hours long... and there's like 2 or 3 different endings to it...

No, Aaron Thompson is biased or just a inconsistent reviewer. If any other reviewer (hopefully Jeff), reviews this game, it could be AA to AAA.
