the move or whatever it's called was created for 1 reason aand one reason only: Revenue. the same goes for project natal. Do you think the companies are creating games where u can do stuff like paint elephants because they feel that those are high quality products? no. Theyre just jumping on the motion bandwagon a little late into the show. That is just how business works, and how it will continue to work for a long time. When one company has a breakthrough hit, another company will imitate it to get a piece of our wallets intended for the original item. A perfect example is hollywood and the 3-D craze. 3-D started popping up here and there, then movies like Avatar made it a smash box office hit. Now the majority of fantasy filmscreated incorporate the 3-D idea. It's really kinda pathetic actually when you see things like "the move" being announced. It makes some Sony fans realize that their game corporation isntmainly about gamer appreciation and quality. They want a lot of quick bank too, at the cost of hardcore gamer respect because that has now moved to 2nd on their top priority list. Until Move becomes a total blowout anyway, then u hardcore gamers are the favorite audience again.

Do any of you arguing about this actually care about the Sony Wand anyway? I know I don't, if I wanted to play crappy shovelware with a controller designed for middle-aged, technophobe housewives I would play it on the Wii. There is nothing for 360 or PS3 owners to celebrate here, Microsoft and Sony are dumbing down their consoles in a vain attempt to appeal to the non-gamer market that Nintendo have already sewn up. The amount of money and time they have spent on R&D for these projects would be much better spent developing new games. I bought a 360 to play good quality games, not because I desperately wanted an overpriced Wii.Elutheria

C'mon, hasn't sony been copying Nintendo forever? Crash Bandicoot? While that's not a blatant copy, it's a mascot platformer that was started to brand the system with. Then the N64 rolls around and mario64 blows the playstation out of the water--didn't sony then make its own analog controller and then release Spyro? The Move isn't only a copycat device, it is a SHAMELESS one. Just look at the very design of the unit, it's ridiculous.
