i bought my first bioware game today jade empire for the pc.... i was really dissapointed..after about 5 hours i just thought to myself.. this cant touch fable... which i also played on pc
i also feel ripped off cause they didnt even bother to redo the ingame engine cut scenes... they just reused the xbox ones... its really stupid cause when playing the regular game u get good graphics and then everytime there is a cut scene u go wtf.. i feel gipped how did it take u 1 year to remake this game if u just reuse the xbox one graphics and why the hell did u charge for a full priced pc game when u half assed it....
well this is my first and only(probably last) impression of bioware... a company that takes its time making  a lazy port which should have been a easy job in the first place

Hoo! I just watched a vid from x06 on Kotaku (I think) that hadn't been released yet...is that the one you mean? Personally, I was impressed with the game before but that vid was just about...freakin' amazing. The part at the end, where he's throwing stuff around, was just too cool. I don't think it will sell a bazillion copies but it looks like it will score well.

No -- perhaps you're thinking of Mass Effect? That is being developed by Bioware, the company that made Jade Empire and KOTOR...Bioshock the game is totally unrelated.
In your post, you briefly mentioned people liking this unreleased game with a negative attitude... yet you have decided that you don't really like this game without playing it. Interesting. Would it be possible that the people who saw the video like what they saw and you didn't?

Bioware aren't making Bioshock.
Jade Empire is one of Bioware's worst games, apparently.

Okay, two things, one, don't judge a developer by their worst game, and two, has nothing to do with the topic.
this game looks really innovative i give them that... but it's hard to decide.. either mass effect or frontlines or assassin's creed or halo3 and the list keeps growing.. and i cant buy every single game...

Well, maybe you should play System Shock 2. Bioshock really isn't your standard FPS, if it's anything like System Shock (and it does look very similar) it should be amazing.

Jade Empire (especially the PC version) is a bad game from an amazing developer.
You should play Balders Gate (I or II) or Kotor, those games are fantastic.
I liked JE a lot on the Xbox, though RPG's were a bit thin on the ground, I still think it was a great game.

bioshock looks like it will own and I've played far, far worse RPGs than either Jade Empire or Fable. They are not terrible games. They aren't fantastic either, but terrible? Please.

Bioshock isnt just coming out on the 360 you know. Lots of nintendo fanboys either have 360s or have a gaming PC.

Unfortunately, there's one difference: the guy who (IMO) is the most magically amazing miracle working in the game industry, Warren Spector, is not working on this project. I hope they can make it without him, but they may screw up somewhere.

LOL, My Cyrix 166 pwned!!!!! SS2 is one of the best games i have ever played in my 25 years of life. For that reason alone, I am planning on getting BioShock
I never got to play SS2 (I'm only 14...so it's either Ebay or I never get to play it), but I am extremely excited for Bioshock. It's looks incredibly atmospheric, the AI looks pretty innovative, the graphics look amazing and the gameplay deep. Can't wait until it comes out. Â
