First off Team Fortress 2 was not horrible on consoles. Secondly, some of us aren't able to run it.

I have to agree with you about the looking amazing part, but have to disagree with the price part. My computer is $800 dollars (and I got some good deals) and I can't quite max it out at 1280x1024. Also, a lot of people (including me) are haveing freezing problems in the game. I do not care how it looks, if it keeps freezing, it is worthless. I ended up having to play the game at loww settings on 800x600, and it still froze intermediately. I can run Crysis on high perfectly, but I can barely run this on low. Hopefully there is a patch soon, but I am not holding my breath.

I have to agree with you about the looking amazing part, but have to disagree with the price part. My computer is $800 dollars (and I got some good deals) and I can't quite max it out at 1280x1024. Also, a lot of people (including me) are haveing freezing problems in the game. I do not care how it looks, if it keeps freezing, it is worthless. Ok well, my Grandfather has a really nice PC and it has a hard time running halo 2 on it. I have played games on PC before and i can say without a doubt that if you want your pc to run games like the PS3 and 360 do then your gonna have to fork over major cash. High end PCs dont come cheap.

I just downloaded the patch and man, did it make a difference. I can now max out the game @ 1280x1024 without any framerate issues. It looks absolutely beautiful when you are actually playing it. Screenshots just do not give the game justice. My Current monitor only goes up to 1280x1024, and this game may actually finally persuade me to invest in a new one.

It looks awesome and it plays much like the others but i'm dissapointed with it. I was expecting more changes although having said that if it's not broken don't fix it.

i can max that game out at 1920x1080p no problem on my pc with a rock solid fps it looks great!

i'l skip the console version in favour of the pc one every time.

So? A laptop is weaker, even if you have a geforce 8600 card in your laptop then it's still weaker than the 8600 card in a PC. And there's no point to talk if you have an intergrated video card.

The PS3 version has a slower movement speed than the PC version, probably to help gamepads keep up with the action.

Preference is good and all, but you can't run the game the same as a high end PC on a PS3. Lower framerate and worse graphics.

Dont forget to upgrade the operating system ( Vista is not cheap) if you want direct x 10.
