While they are both FPSs, they are both totally different games.
Single Player: Crysis takes place in a living breathing world, with an expansive map where each and every object is detailed. If you see it in the game, you can travel to that point. The gameplay is tactical, very much so like Counter Strike and RS:V, with the added element of using your suit and surroundings to your advantage. Much like people have said, it is very 'predator' like.
Unreal on the otherhand is a fast paced FPS where you primarily just blow things up. This is great, but it falls into the type of games like Doom and Quake. Nothing wrong, I love it just as much, but a totally different game.
Multiplayer: Crysis is set to have a very battlefield-like approach. Where there are strategic points to capture, which each give their according team certain benefits. Forward bunkers give the team more spawn points, war factories give way to air units, research facility for alient weapons that are uber powered along with nuclear tanks, then finally powerplants used to give your team increases weapon count. Along with the implementation of a CS-like buy system, where you earn money for doing things in the game which are then used for buying equipment. This is a team based game.
Unreal is once again a fast paced game, ala Quake. You shoot things and blow it up in smaller environments made to be "Arenas". Games include King of the hill, Capture the flag, Deathmath, etc.
Conclusion: Two different games, even though they are both FPSs. Comparing the two is quite foolish as both will be equally remarkable. Now when it comes down to gameplay, it will clearly be personal preference as to what ****of game they prefer. When it comes to graphics, on a technical standpoint Crysis is output more. On a personal preference in graphics... it comes down the the player as to what they like better.
Either way, it would make sense to get both.Oh, and we all know it will be better on the PC anyways :P
