People can argue until their blue in the face about which games they like better, or sell better. The FACT is that in 2007, MS saw a sales decline despite releasing some of their biggest titles to date. World wide the 360 is being outsold by the more expensive PS3 which has only recently released games like Gran Turismo and MGS4. Highly anticipated exlcusives like Final Fantasy, Twisted Metal, God of War 3, Killzone 2, Dark Cloud 3, etc are all expected in the near future and all are major titles with a broad appeal. That doesn't even include the smaller titles with cult-like followings like anything new from the Ico team, and the already highly anticipated Little Big PLanet.
Seems all MS has left is Halo spin-offs and more shooters.

Spoken like a true fanboy! Whoo Hoo!!!The fact that MS's console is ahead of Sony's console, given the previous generation, is testimony enough to the 360s success. Not to mention that the 360 is selling better than it's predicessor during the same time period in it's life span... can the PS3 make the same claim?
Calling me a fanboy isn't the same as saying I'm wrong.
And the only reason MS's console is ahead is because they came out a year earlier. in head to head competition, MS is losing. In fact, analysts are starting to come out and say that the PS3 could actually close the gap by the end of this year. And considering that the PS3 has outsold the 360 for 4/5 months so far this year, that is big considering NA makes up %60 of MS's total 360 sales.
Finally, I fail to see how the 360 os selling better than it's predicessor during the same time period. Maybe it's because I look at actual sales numbers. The fact is that the 360 is still selling at the same rate the original Xbox sold.
Pass it this year? The only analysts who say that are fanboys in SW. Show me a link. As far as world-wide sales, the 360 and PS3 are pretty much the same in sales outside of Japan.Now selling better than the first XBox? The first Xbox sold 24 million in 4 years. The 360 has sold 19 million in 2 1/2 years. I think it is selling more than the first one did.
1) Please point out where I said PS3 sales would pass 360 sales. I always know when I talking to a fanboy when I say one thing and they respond as if I said something totally different.
2) In 2007, Sony announced that they sold 10.5 million consoles world wide. Keep in mind that the PS3 is currently selling very quickly in Europe but didn't launch there until later in the year. Meanwhile in 2007, MS reported 6.5 million sales world wide. Those are official numbers from the actual company sales reports. 10.5 million vs 6.5 million. How is that "pretty much the same"?
3) The first Xbox started off with extremely slow sales world wide, but saw sales in NA pick up year after year resulting in total sales increases each year. The 360 is seeing sales DECREASE year after year so far. Therefore, if the trend continues for the 360 (which I admit, it may not, but considering there was a decrease when their largest games came out in 2007...) the 306s sales aren't doing much better than Xbox did. The only reason the 360 may outsell the Xbox is because it looks like it will be out for more than 4 years.
