[Update: Sonic Colors: Ultimate & more announced] Sonic Direct set for May 27

I have it on the Wii, I didn't enjoy it that much. Sonic games are hit and miss with me.

Cant really say this is worth getting excited about. Sonic Forces was a huge disappointment. I just hope they make a Sonic Generations 2.

I’ll take a sonic origins collection. Mania 2 sure, that game captures the old pretty well.

I'll get Colours and Origins on Xbox.

Sonic Colors made my jaw drop at times. Some of the level design is amazing. And that soundtrack... Sega does it like nobody else. I wasn’t too big on some of the powers. They really bring the action to a halt, but Colors is a really good to great Sonic game.

Can't wait to play it on a regular system.

Has there ever been a well-known video game series that is known for its hits and misses than Sonic the Hedgehog?

Might pick up Sonic colors if it's a decent price.

Agree. Even from the very beginning. I liked Sonic 1 and 2, but I'm not that fond of Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles.

Sonic Heroes was awful.

I did like Sonic Generations though. The levels were very well done. Beautiful game.

I really think with the 3D Sonic games, instead of making Sonic really fast, slow everything down around him like in The Flash or something. It just makes level design tricky if Sonic is going fast in 3D games, then you get on the rails nonsense to compensate.

But, I won't call Sonic Colors a bad game, I can see a lot of effort has gone in, and it was received well, it's just not quite for me. I can see what they were doing and even appreciate it. But it just wasn't clicking with me.
