We all know that the 360 is easily winning in the US and the PS3 is beating the 360 in Japan and Asia. But Europe is evenly balanced. The UK is the largest market in Europe and if you look at the numbers you will see how well the 360 has done compared to the other European countries. If you took out the UK from Europe then indeed Europe would be Sonyland. MS have realised that if they do a good job here in Britain then it would be difficult for Sony to win Europe.

This is the last six months sales: (vgchartz)

PS3 - 188,061

X360 - 366,759

The 360 is almost outselling the PS3 2:1

Just goes to prove that there really is a special bond between Britain and the US and we have similiar tastes in games.

Well, i agree and disagree. For the hardcore gamers, the 360 is the only choice here. however, as Christmas comes around and parents and casuals are going out to buy presents, they're immediately put off by the lack of optional extras included with the 360 (and paying for onilne play). They don't feel they're getting value for money. While this may be superficial to us, i think it will not bode well for the 360 this christmas...

I disagree with your point. If your a casual you gonna buy the Arcade version of the 360 for £200 or if you want to play online you will buy the Premuim for £250. Why would you buy the gimped 40gb PS3 for £300?

Ah. but people aren't buying the gimped PS3. They're buying the 60Gb with B/C, blu ray capability, 20gb extra space, free wireless, free online, a controller that is already rechargeable, and two games. Considering thats only £50 more, you begin to see why people think they're getting more for their money.

What like no games, no BC, smaller hard drive, and no rumble.
