Mexico will buy everyone a GPU.

@WitIsWisdom Do you really believe Democrats own most of the media? That's a bit delusional no?

@nirgal: Sure... just like prices weren't lower when he was president before. We will get tax cuts, and lower energy bills. Meaning? We will have more money to spend which in turn improves the economy and decreases inflation. More spending makes for a better market and breeds new businesses. New business tightens the market and drops prices as companies compete for market share.

Even if most prices don't fall with an extra 10-15k per year it won't matter. He wants to half our power bills. I don't know about you, but mine is between $800-$1,000 a month, meaning I'll be saving around $5,000 on that alone.

He also plans on cutting the price of gas which hover between $3‐$3.50 a gallon where I'm from which is easily over a dollar higher on average. 20 gallon tank is $20 difference. 2 tanks a week is $40, times 4 weeks is $160 times 12 is nearly $2,000 in savings a year.

Those two things alone and we are already at around 7k in savings.

Do you need some other things that will drop prices, put more money in our pockets, or strengthen our country?

Here area few more, interest cap on credit cards, no tax on tips, no tax on ss, car loans deductible, cutting trillions from government spending and making the paper trail visible for all citizens to see where our money is going, cut regulations, remove power from congress, impose term limits, extend the tax cuts, ending dei, deport and end drug cartels and foreign gangs, end the war in Ukraine and Gaza... the list goes on and on.

@WitIsWisdom: dude, tax cuts is the same as increasing government spending.(Its just the other side of the same coin)

Yes you can do that and it will be better for a while, then someone will have to pay the debt.

Halving the energy bill, frankly other than subsidizing it (which is the same as accumulating debt), what is the other way of doing that ?

This works if you are old and don't care about the next generation, but as a long term plan ?

About the price of gas, gas is a global commodity, the price is tied to international prices plus the taxes. You can do 2 things: 1. Subsidize it 2. Eliminate the taxes.

They both have something in common: debt.

This is not magic.

@nirgal: No... with the transparency and group Trump plans to make (Elon Musk) they will cut government spending by trillions and those funds will be allocated to things that actually matter instead of shady business deals being made under the people of our countries noses that only benefit the ultra wealthy, career politicians, the industrial war machine, and foreign countries that hate our guts.

Energy independence and a large amount of oil flooding the market will drop gas prices as well. Sure, we need a better plan for the future (hydrogen is the way forward... not EV), but for the time being lives will improve across the board and more money can actually go into research and development of the future of our world instead of the same old doom and gloom broken rhetoric the Democrats always use.

This is a good thing whether you realize it or not. Time will show you I'm right.

@WitIsWisdom: first of all, trump during his first term did not cut government spending in any way sufficient enough to compensate for his tax cuts and debt grew much more than during previous administrations.

Second, where are those miss allocated trillions? Such huge quantity should be easy to identify.

Third, the usa is already a net exporter of oil, so energy independence in this case is not relevant to prices. Also the USA does not restrict its own oil output, and does not have control over OPEC output. So, it cannot create a "large amount of oil flooding the market". It can only release its own oil reserves, but it already does so when prices get too high, that would not be new.

As for the part number four: research & development, plus infrastructure. Those things will maybe eventually lower the energy prices, but the development cycle makes those long term solutions (that would have benefits after trump left power or passed away). I don't believe for a minute that trump would focus on anything that would not have an effect right away. It would simply not serve him politically.

@nirgal: We should revisit this in a year or two.

Pretending that Covid didn't happen is ridiculous. Trump had the best economy of my lifetime before the magical plandemic hit, that just happened to quell civil uprising in China due to lockdown and quiet Trumps economy. Such timing, and a virus that has been around for 80 years that found a way to multiply its strength hundreds of times over night is quite astonishing and one hell of a feat of natural phenomena....

Also, the money isn't difficult to find... with complete transparency I think even a few of the more diehard liberals in here would be surprised at just where our money goes. I know a few we can cross off the list right now.

If Trump and Musk say they can cut a couple trillion off then I say have at it. Trump doesn't need this, he's doing it for the love of country and the American people. He could have sailed off into the sunset and lived out his remaining days on the nicest beaches and golf courses in the world.

I'd rather see them try to save our country than watching it burn down around us while they do absolutely nothing... aka Biden, and as far as Kamala is concerned... well we should all be glad her radical policies won't be enacted.

@WitIsWisdom: the debt was increasing faster even before COVID.

Just as a matter of curiosity, where do you think are those miss allocated trillions?

Most of the discretionary spending of the USA federal budget is the military, btw.

@nirgal: Trump raised the deficit less than both Obama and Biden, and that was half under a global pandemic with lockdowns and millions of people forced out of their jobs.

If anyone can trim the fat and keep things stable it's Musk and I'd prefer they try than to continue down a path that clearly isn't working.

Also, Trump added $2.2 trillion to the debt his first 2 years and $6.2 trillion during the pandemic, so I have no idea where you are getting your numbers. For comparison Bidens first 2 years were $4.9 trillion. Without covid relief Trumps numbers were $4.8 trillion during his entire term... Still not good, but nowhere near as bad as the presidents before and after him, and now with the Senate and hopefully the House things can actually get done.

@WitIsWisdom:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/200410/surplus-or-deficit-of-the-us-governments-budget-since-2000/

You can see the trends here. The deficit expands every year since trump is in power (2017-2020, as he is elected in 2016). Whereas during the Obama and Biden administration, it's generally going down(2009-2016, 2021-2024)

Lmfao... the coping is real. The democrats own 95% of social media and news outlets and you still lost. That's because the misinformation and propaganda have reached all time highs and people from all over the world actually believed it until all the promises continued to be unanswered and daily life became harder and harder. Trump being re-elected is the best thing that could have happened for the entire world. Where the US economy goes the world economy goes... same with China though.

President Trump 45 and 47 (hell, might as well add in 46 while we're at it), the Senate, and the House. The blue haired gang is done!

Now police can actually do their jobs again, we can close the border, drop prices, lower utilities, and reach energy independence again.

He's already done more since being elected than Biden/Harris have done in 4 years. The illegals got their meal ticket cut off and will soon be kicked out of those nice hotels. It's like sanity is actually trying to clear the dark and stormy sky.

It will be nice to put our own country first for a change... you know kind of like how every other country does?

Democrats can't even define what a woman is anymore... no more men in women's sports, no more free sex changes, and no tax on overtime.

Please, the rest of the world knows Trump is a moron. Please keep him in your country.

@last_lap: Nope... all you known is what you've been told through mass social media and less than ethical news outlets. He didn't do 99% of the things he was accused of, just witch hunt after witch hunt. The Democrats were/are scared shitless of him, and for good reason. He's going to tear down the deep state. It's over for them destroying our nation at their benefit.

All we hear in the states are the exact same things, so I can only imagine the disinformation people in other countries recieve. You think that they aren't in league? It's part of the Democratic machine... and despite a campaign of over $11 billion in bribes, lies, disinformation, smear campaigns, and placated attempts to play off four years of inaction. They failed. The deep state, the corporations that run shadow campaigns, and several attempted assassination attempts brought through wording they understood what would happen all too well.

Trump ran on around $1 billion... which is more than 11 times lower, and still won in a landslide, so continue believing whatever you want, but it doesn't take a genius to understand what happened, and its not because of stupidity or ignorance. He won the popular vote by 4 million and electoral votes by over 75 in a race to 270.

The Democrats own over 95% of all social media and news outlets, so they can spread whatever bs they want nearly completely unchecked, and have the ability to bounce fact checks between echo chambers. You think they spent that kind of money because they were confident they were in the right? They knew they were in trouble from the start.

Now all that remains is to tear down the deepstate and rebuild true democracy with term limits that will keep people a little more honest and ensure the people of our country and the world can break free from being under the thumb of massive tech and pharmaceuticals. Before you say what about Elon? That's completely different... they want to start a task force to show transparency of where our tax dollars are going, instead of continuously raising taxes and prices and promising things will get better with absolutely no paper trail. A lot of people are about to be exposed and if I were them I would have tried to buy the election as well...

This read less like someone into politics and more a Jim Jones or David Koresh follower telling us how wonderful the leader is.

The MSM (different from media) has been in bed with the Democrats for a very long time and that is not up for debate.

Can I say you aren't in favor of colleges having cry rooms with available cookies and blankets because students are unable to understand life and how elections don't always end in the way they want?

Nintendo software is made in Japan and as of yet I haven't seen JPN mentioned with increased tariffs.

Left or right, nothing is wrong with wanting the return of this country as a manufacturing powerhouse. Maybe I am in the minority but I always try to buy MIA even though it isn't always possible.

So this is a political gamers post masquerading as a system wars post, regardless Trump uses tariffs and the threat of tariffs to cut favourable deals we've seen this repeatedly, he did the same thing with NATO to get more NATO members to actually pay their 2%, he'll attempt a similar strat with Ukraine etc. Trump has plenty of character flaws and you can dislike the guy on a personal level but rather than cope on a message board and try to fear monger "boogie man Trump coming for your games" lets wait and see what actually comes of things once he's back in office.

I know there's a lot of salt being produced following the election, but let's not infect SystemWars with political silliness. We try to keep the silliness here revolving around folk's infatuation with inanimate objects and loyalty to corporations!
