There's a difference between bashing and actaully seeing the downgrading in games and commenting about them and trying to enlighten people. But I tend to see more console bashers bashing Pc games and pc gamers with no real proof then the reverse.

I do acknowledge we can be irritating, but in the end PC Gamers high standards push games forward, Console games help force developers to optimize and stramline games for a less hardcore (and larger audience). You play an important part, but we are qualitative (we create quality), console markets are quantitative (dumb down those concepts/tech to make more sales). We are on the leading edge, and consolers are just pumping a little extra money into the system.

Let me get the record straight, I have been playing PC and XBOX 360 for years now "all you PC hermits that haven't had a console since 200..." gimme a break, you don't know me! I got so bored with consoles (I do like Uncharted, and Killzone is overrated, yes I play my best friends PS3 too!) that my Xbox Live Gold ran out 6 months ago and it still hasn't bothered me at all.
COD wasn't nearly the best selling PC Game, WOW Cataclysm ring a bell?
BC2 did lose prone and lean, and I do hate that, but that game moved forward from being a COD clone by actually ADDING to the core Gameplay, fully destructible environments, better teamwork (for example target "spotting"), and Squad deathmatch which is a blast.
And people who like COD either don't know how good an FPS could be, are kids that like to griefing peoplewith unbalanced weapons they nulocked firstand downright silly "killstreaks, or are COD fanboys.

Thats part of why Microsoft canceled Games for Windows cross-platforming, in aMicrosoft-fundedexperiment mouse users/PC Gamers beat the Gamepad/Console gamers almost every time! Look it up!!

YES! every innovative feature of console games(outside of motion controls) has come from PC Games, multiplayer unlocks on COD4? NOPE! BATTLEFIELD 2 BABY!(a PC exclusive!) Modern Game Physics? Half Life 2! COD, The Elder Scrolls, Battlefield, Counter Strike, came from PC! Bullet penetration from COD4? NOPE! Project IGI from long agohad that! Maybe even a PC Game before it! Destructible environments? Operation Flashpoint 1 had every building destructible!! Crysis 1's graphicsis just now being beat out by Killzone 3, and Crysis is 4 years old LOL
And yes more powerful hardware=more technologically advanced games !! You lose Wii4Fun!
And yes, 2011 technology beats 2004 technology! Come on guys why can't you accept these obvious truths?
Even if its more expensive, since when has a product being more expensive canceled out the fact that its better? An Audi R8 is WAY more expensive than a Chevy Cobalt, BUT ITS STILL BETTER!

COD WAW, COD MW2, and COD BO are made with much less quality on PC than other PC shooters (or there console versions), no modding, cut features (I have to leave online matches to edit mycreate a classin Black Ops, WTF? theres basicly no functional lobby)
Crysis 2 has smaller environments, and its graphics didn't leap forward nearly as much as its predecessor, SO IT COULD BE MADE ON CONSOLES!!

Yes I am, Nintendo is a sellout and a blackhole for originality, they use the same franchises since the NES! OOOOO a mario platformer again, ooooh another copy/paste of Zelda twilight princess! Such quality! Nintendogs! Tons of shovelware (not too be confused with good PC indie/mini games like Pants Versus Zombies, Bejeweled and so on...), yes Nintendo sold thier souls for nerds stuck in the NES days and for the MOST CASUAL of gamers!

No, I'm missing out on the best selling games, to use my previous metaphor, Chevy Cobalts sell way better than Audi R8's, guess R8 owner's are missingout huh?

As far as knowledge of what a good shooter is...yeah, you kinda are.
Its always hard to admit when something's better than what you are a part of! But its still true! I know because I have played every platform to a notable extent, I get all sides of the story. I'm a conservative for example, but I always look into the liberal side of things too! Alot of console gamers don't own a PC capable of quality gaming, so they HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM TO ARGUE! I, however, do.

Just quoted the part relevant to me. No. You are missing out on some of the best games. I'm not talking Call of Duty or some other generic BS like that.
