xD. That too. I have no idea why we can't just have both. The Wii has amazing slit screen games, but fails at online and the ps3 and 360 seem to be able to have impressive online communitys, but their party/splitscreen department is lacking.
The first console to nail split screen, party gaming and online hardcore gaming wins in my oppinion.

yeah - it annoys the hell out of me too. it's done a lot on the 360, very few games support good local splitscreen these days, which is a shame because i have people over quite a bit. at least some games still have it - its just a shame some of the classic ips are dropping it after supporting it for years.

Less split screen then. More party.
Super smash Bros
Wii Sports
Wii Academy
Mario Kart
All have huge casual appeal, but there lies they're strength. I see a lot more people smiling playing a basic split screen game than I do halo (including myself) If anything I look and feel frustrated when I play online games.

wouldnt that make it a perosnal preference? ... my friend has a wii and wii sports/wii play ... he also has rockband for his ps3. And every time we choose to play rock band. If thats not a good multiplayer game then i dont know what is.

Warhawk on PS3 is awesome for this. 4 player splitscreen and you can all go online together and play.
Well of course COD4>UT3>>>>>>>>>>Halo3 multiplayer, no argument there.
Halo3 multiplayer>>>COD4 multiplayer.
COD4 singleplayer>>>Halo3 singleplayer.
This is coming from someone that owns both no biased opinion here. Halo3 has 4player splitscreen local and 4player splitscreen over xboxlive no other game does this.
Don't mean to nitpick but Warhawk does that. And seamlessly i might add. All you do is turn on a 2nd 3rd and 4th controller and your inWell of course COD4>UT3>>>>>>>>>>Halo3 multiplayer, no argument there.

lol ... psn has free maps, free new characters ... and pretty much anything that lemmings wish they could have if it wasnt for xbox live.
you forgot the lag PSN has ;)
Yeah it happens when ppl like you with crappy internet host a game.
The only games that DO have lag are CoD4 and it also does on XBL so bugger off. RBSV2 also has a serious server problem.
UT3 has been running perfectly, expecially since the update a couple of days ago

It's P2P, exactly the same as Xbox Live. Fail much?
[QUOTE="UnknownSniper65"]The current fix is to buy a wired headset, the Epic forums report that 5% of users with the wired headset can get chat to work.Did they ever fix voice chat on UT3?
If they did I might start playing it again xP
