Gotta remember the lads behind skies of arcadia are awesome man, segas problem is they don't put the effort into franchises that people actually like from there lineup.

It isn't a title for everyone no doubt but it was a great game to play with tons of replay value (import)

Great score, can't wait for this to come out on Friday. Yep that's right, FRIDAY. We are now living in bizzaro world where Europeans get a JRPG before the rest of the world! (excluding asia)

I like their written reviews. They go in-depth with a lot to say; but score-wise I kind of toss out the window.

The game seems AA to me judging from the video review and what the (boring) speaker/reviewer/guy said.

I wonder if how the people on the IGN forums look at GS reviews.

Same with Motorstorm, there is some exceptions. But overall they give high scores to any high profile games.

I agree, they are well written but scores sometimes seem to ignore the written text.

Well, there are the rare moments Gamespot scores noticablly higher. IE No More Heroes, Assassin's Creed, and Web of Shadows.

I am surprise with the score IGN gave. I really thought the game would receive 7.0-8.0 from playing the demo. IGN also gave Folklore 9.0 so the score might be totally different when GS reviews it.

very impressive review, the guy could name very many problems, it really looks like a good game

Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots (AAAAE!), Folklore (Surprising, to say the least.), Little Big Planet, and that's all I can think of at the moment. I know SIREN: Blood Curse, Disgaea 3, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, the first Motorstorm, and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift didn't get AAA. Any other high quality PS3 games that might've scored AAAE?

So that's eight AAAE+ for PS3.

seriously, I found the demo very, but very good (AA 8.5)

It is very unlikely to do better than Fable 2 or Mass Effect (both 8.5).

Just my opinion.

I'm stepping into your thread to leave some pointless message about how I thought the demo was crap, don't get the appeal of the gameplay and can't understand how or why it would get such a high score. Also I think the graphics are flat, undetailed and dull. At its best moments it looks like bad, bland 2D art. At it's worst a flat, blocky 3D game that would look at home on the PS2. The pencil sketch overlays look bad. It's like a filter they applied on top of certain objects. Blaeurgh. Why do people praise the graphics as it's some kind of artistic revolution? Prince of Persia, now that looks good.InsaneBasura

Wasn't expeting much from this one...

I'll download the demo tomorrow and see what it's all about!

I was already looking for eternal sonata and little big planet... not counting rock band 2.... $$$ :'(
