Valkyria Chronicles IGN review 9.0

Folklore was a great game, I would score it about a 8.5 or 9

how is IGN on a roll? IGN sucks. PS3 is on a roll because it's getting a ton of good exclusives and it's getting some of the 360's best titles from last year (such as Bioshock and Eternal Sonata)

Not from what I have heard level 1. Not to say I didn't play the beta personally, but there have been Really good talks about the multiplayer, to the extent of being the best yet.

I love the IGN is bias and Sony payed them comments LOL Nobody ever said 360 was an invincible console, every time a 360 game gets a high rating lems declare ownage. You guys act like PS3 can't have quality games and if it does get a high rating. Lems use damage control before GS even reviews it. Sony payed me to type that :lol:SnakePS360Gamer

They gave Folklore AAA.... I've played it, no way is it on par with a real AAA game like God Of War.

They gave Pro Evo 2008 AAA, aka the game with PS2 graphics, very few options and broken online.O and it also had IGN ads all over it, I'm sure that was unrelated to the score :roll:

I wanted to make sweet sweet love to the demo. Plus, I am a fan of strategy games. So, I'm definitely going to buy this.no_handlebars

While I wouldn't have put it in quite those words, I have to agree. IGN hands out AAAs like candy at Halloween. The fact that they get so many exclusive reviews doesn't help their credibility much either.

Valkyria Chronicles isnt exactly an Example of A questionable AAA either, I know thats not what you said but Senjou No Vakyria got a 91 from famitsu an has gotten several triple AAA scores across the Internet.

Read Gamespot previews, they have praised this game nearly as much as they praised Little Big Planet and im not joking.

lol... it's not like gamespot has less biased reviews. Bioshock ps3 and eternal sonata ps3 should have gotten higher scores cuz of the additional content. Mayb the games are good? Tried out the VC demo and I was pretty impressed. Fanboys and their damage control eh? Scores don't matter to me either way.

Same with Motorstorm, there is some exceptions. But overall they give high scores to any high profile games.

I like their written reviews. They go in-depth with a lot to say; but score-wise I kind of toss out the window.

The game seems AA to me judging from the video review and what the (boring) speaker/reviewer/guy said.

I agree, they are well written but scores sometimes seem to ignore the written text.

I find them weird and unpredictable, it was nearly impossible (imho) for assassins creed not to get above a 9.5 on IGN and look what happened.

At least the highest scores they've given out this gen are justified.
