Valve are the most overrated,laziest, untalented Devs this gen..

I dont get why Valve and their games are so praised so much.. Ok lets look at the games this gen they have released.. The orange box which was just all their past games on one disc made for consoles.. Left 4 Dead which was a fun yet extremely overrated game that got boring really fast.. then just one year later came Left 4 Dead 2 which was nearly identical to Left 4 Dead with a new game mode and new characters.. oh and mellee weapons..

There games are nothing special at all... mediocre graphics, repetitive gameplay, no depth to any of their games whatsoever.. sure Half Life and portal where great, but that was several years ago..

There are just way way better devs out there that dont get near the amount of attention.. Guerilla and the Devs who made Demons souls come to mind. Valve cant even make a game on PS3 lol.. Nearly every other Dev has learned how to make a game on the PS3 other than Valve.. ok so is valve going to just keep making games on the 360 and PC the rest of their life? they have to face reality that the PS3 user base is growing rapidly and they better learn how to make a game for it.

Just because they made half life doesnt give them a free pass on being so lazy and bias on not even wanting to attempt to make a game on the PS3.. Come on, even crappy Factor 5 with Crappy Lair knows how to make a PS3 game.

Valve are excellet devs. It sucks that they choose not to develop on PS3. But to flat out deny their quality is just as wrong as Valve's hatred of the PS3.

No offense man, but I think you are just upset that Valve doesn't give the PS3 any appreciation. I'm not saying what they choose to do is right, but saying they are untalented because they don't like the PS3 is kind of a weak argument, especially when Portal, Team Fortress 2,Half Life 2: Episode 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are batting against you

Objectively speaking, valve is a great developer. Whether or not you like the style of their games is up to you, but it sounds like much of your argument which is not completely factually incorrect stems from valve not developing for the PS3. That's no basis for an argument at all.

Why should they bother? You need to communicate to play Left4Dead2 and communication certainly isn't one of PSN's stronger suits?

You're just pissed that Valve doesn't support the PS3. Come on, admit it....

So now if a devloper doesn't release games on every platform they suck? They focus on PC, they only bothered porting their games for the extra $$$. And how are they lazy, have you not seen the amount of updates that Tf2 has recieved on PC (all for free). There are far more developers that fit the description you just mentioned, you just seem bitter that you cant play their games on ps3.

I agree that they are waaaaayyyyyy overrated, but they are good devs. Just not the best ever like many try to make them out to be.

Konami likes limiting its sales potential???? But seriously,I will never understand this shear attitude about being owed anything that PS fans seem to have.

I guess Blizzard should be overrated and lazy too because they're the same. Or it's because both Valve and Blizzard make great games that can be enjoyed for many years.

I think it's the latter, although Left 4 Dead 2 didn't sit right with me, but that's only because Valve usually has the best support for their fanbase but L4D1 didn't get any support, which is very uncharacteristic of them.

Wouldn't it be funny if Valve annouced a Left4Dead2 port tomorrow?

Naughty Dog is sooooooooo lazy for not developing their games for Xbox 360. But then they make generic platformers, so they're just untalented anyway.
