Valve are the most overrated,laziest, untalented Devs this gen..

Naughty Dog is sooooooooo lazy for not developing their games for Xbox 360. But then they make generic platformers, so they're just untalented anyway.

I love all the Valve hate from Cows; it shows how pissed they are at being left out. Meanwhile Valve will continue to be arguably the most consistently great developer in gaming today, right up there with Blizzard and BioWare. And The Orange Box wasn't a compilation of old games. Only two of the five games on there were old. The other three? 1) A brilliant continuation of a brilliant storyline, 2) Highly innovative puzzle game, 3) An awesome deathmatch game which, if you bought it on PC, has been supported unbelievably well for free.

We might be seeing a different attitude then. Just a guess.

Valve not making games for PS3 is similar to cows refusing to pay for online mutliplayer.

Because they strongly believe in certain principals even if opposite action is well within their means. In valve's case, they are against proprietory hardware that doesn't contribute towards industry standards. To them it hinders progress, as each developer has to "start over" with each new SONY console. Valve could easily make a PS3 game, the same way a cow could pay for XBL prices, but why should they if its against their principals that online should be free or that hardware should be designed around the developer?

There games are nothing special at all... mediocre graphics, repetitive gameplay, no depth to any of their games whatsoever.. sure Half Life and portal where great, but that was several years ago..

Anybody who seriously thinks Valve refuse to develop for PS3 because they have some kind of 'hatred' for it is insane. Do you guys think Gabe Newell sits in his office participating in console wars under an alias or something? I bet he thought to himself "I HATE SONY SO MUCH!!! NO WAY ARE VALVE WORKING FOR THOSE GUYS! XBOX4LIFE! I MUST NOT LET SONY WIN THE CONSOLE WARS!!!!" and everything.

No offense man, but I think you are just upset that Valve doesn't give the PS3 any appreciation. I'm not saying what they choose to do is right, but saying they are untalented because they don't like the PS3 is kind of a weak argument, especially when Portal, Team Fortress 2,Half Life 2: Episode 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are batting against you

Yes. Their only good games are L4D. TF2 is booooring.

If any, Valve is underrated.

Not a fan of the Left 4 Dead series, but I enjoyed other Valve titles. Team Fortress 2 is hella fun, and the Half-Life games are pretty cool. Not one of my favorite devs, but Valve is ok in my book.
