[QUOTE="Sali217"]Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world who hates Steam.MBirdy88Why? why the hell would you like PSN over it...I suppose its the way EULA agreement works.

looking forward to it. i already have a custom built rig in my bedroom but if this turns out good i'd get a steambox for my livingroomLP4EVA2005Yeah me too, that and it will be far easier to transport to a friends apartment than my mid tower..
So would it be fair to call Steambox users "console gamers?"
Because if so, Steam might be responsible for converting millions of "PC Gamers" into being "Console gamers."
Good Luck in your fantasy world, steam is a service, tied to many devices, it in no way is like the crapfest consoles you see today. So would it be fair to call Steambox users "console gamers?"

I'm predicting that they'll be treated as inferiors. Remember when Mac users were "welcomed" to TF2 with autokicks for having earbuds? So would it be fair to call Steambox users "console gamers?"

How is it "tied to devices."
It's a webpage that sells games.
No different from Microsoft Store, Google Store, Apple Store, Sony Store, and all the other "clouds."
Steam fanboys are so stupid, they think a console isn't a console as long as Steam is on it.
Valve's business model = aping consoles

Attacking other people's systems is part of "PC Gamer" culture.
[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]lundy86_4, what exactly is it that you boot into?lundy86_4
XBMC with an Aeon Nox skin. Love it. You set it to read TV shows from your "TV show" folder, and you're good. They simply have to follow a simple title format for each show (i.e. arrow.s01e01/arrow.s01e02) and it reads everyone and fills in the posters/background images/episode titles/etc, itself.
It will also do the same with movies.
Thank you very much. Will look that up someday. :PMy PC can barely Run Far Cry 3..time for a Upgrade. Will hold back Juuust Incase SteamBox is a good choice, I run all my PC games on my HDTV anyway, always wanted a PC Console Hybrid since Im not a graphics whore just like the freedom/exclusives/prices of PC Games, this might be a awesome *middleground* for some gamers.
I'm not sure who will buy this.
PC gamers already have a PC and don't need it and console gamers don't want a PC in a console form either.
Sounds like it will be more of a niche thing if it materializes.

PRetty sure you are stupid here, Xbox, PSN don't share their content with computers ect, its a console yes, but its not required. can you play your console games on your Windows, Mac or linux... thought not. Comparing it directly to the current console business model is stupid.I'm predicting that they'll be treated as inferiors.
