Yaaay! Valve's going to be a good developer right?? Because I remember all the cows saying they are crap and lazy since they don't develop for "teh treyz!!!!1!!!one!"
i dont see why all third party developers dont do this its basically the same systems and you would double what you earn and a port isnt that expensive i dont see nothing wrong with this this is good

I don't have a single exclusive in my collection yet due to them being a bit more expensive than the multiplats. I'll buy them eventually, but I care about the games, exclusive or not.
Im personally not a big fan of Valve. Don't really like TF2, and while I throughly enjoyed HL1, HL2 and it's episodes have some of the most boring gunplay ever...great atmosphere though. And I'm one of those people who doesn't enjoy the "light wieght" feel of TF2. I dunno, it's like your characters just feel so cheap...like cardboard cut outs...like they don't have any real mass...bleh. The only Valve games I really enjoy are HL1 and Portal. And CS, while good is so overrated it's not even funny. Counter Strike is quite possibly the most overrated piece of media in existence. And I love when people use CS to talk about how great Valve is considering they didn't even create it.
Valve is one of the most overrated developers in the Gaming industry.
PS3 gamers are not clamoring for one of their MODS, nor are they dying to have Valves Money Grab known as L4D2.

1. I wouldn't be so quick to scoff at mods.
2. Considering that Valve continues to update TF2 for free, gives obscene discounts on their games, and offers free weekends, criticizing L4D2 for being a "money grab" is really just looking for an excuse.
