Vampires The Masquerade Bloodlines is best rpg EVER. YAY or NAY?

Played almost every rpg , but no rpg interested me as Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines on PC. Yeah, its buggy unpatched. So what? patch it to any latest unofficial patch and you get masterpeice of a rpg.VTMB got everything you desire from a action rpg.

imo... VTMB is best rpg EVER.

How many of you played VTMB and enjoyed it as much as me? pretty shame its not on any console, console gamers really missing a masterpeice rpg.

It was alright from what I played.

It was flawed, but it had that something which made it special. The atmosphere and characters were top notched. Easily one of my favorite RPGs ever. :)

Quite possibly the greatest RPG yes.

Bloodlines is one of the best RPGs ever. I didn't like Redemption very much though.

Makes you wonder why so many PC only classics were never ported to the consoles then,even when quite a few of them were wanted on consoles.

In fact,that usually happens the other way around,PC gamers wanted Dark Souls,from Software quickly did it,and that goes to dozens of console games that before never would´ve went to the PC and now,the huge majority of the good ones are there(and alognside the huge exclusive library of games makes the PC have the best of both worlds),and usually,it´s by far the best version lol.

It does happen the other way around as well obviously,but so many times they come out inferior,butchered ports,at least in the majority of the times ports to the PC tend to be the best version,so at least you wait for something better,not putrid,inferior remains. :lol:

No, but it could've been one of the best. Combat is terrible and unbalanced in it and the last fourth or so of the game was worse than the rest.

It does have basically one of the best class systems ever implemented in a game though.

God damn it, wish I had played at the time. Now the graphics are dated so I wouldn't be able to enjoy it... Sounds like it's good.

I really should buy it and patch the **** out of it. I liked the first Vampires game also, but I kinda ruined it with cheat codes. I was young so don't blame me... too much.

When modded, it looks pretty good. The visuals are still dated, but they're at least not as offensive to the eyes as Deus Ex these days.

It looks better unmodded in my opinion. All that "mod" does is make it darker with more contrast. :?

Top 10 easily. Ut's too hard for me to say the best because it depends on my mood. The game is awesome though.

I liked the 12 hours or so I put into it. Aesthetically, I thought it was a really well realized game world.

The only problem is the gameplay. It's very bad with its combat mechanics. I haven't played more than 12 hours because of it.

God damn it, wish I had played at the time. Now the graphics are dated so I wouldn't be able to enjoy it... Sounds like it's good.

It's one of my favourites. Has a lot of personality, unforgettable characters, unique soundtrack, etc. Its combat was horrible though. Why is it some of the best RPGs have the most god awful combat?

Its an "almost but not quite" game.

Could've been an all time classic but went through development hell and was released in a pretty bad state.

Although it has an atmosphere,game world and characters that are a class apart from most "RPGs" .

Plus its an actual RPG!:shock:

One of my personal favorites but best RPG is pushing it.

Nay, its a very overrated game here on GS. It was fairly good for its time but its not as good as everyone here makes it out to be.

I've never played it unfortunately, but I do have it. I'd have to say the best RPG title goes to The Witcher followed by Deus Ex.Zero5000X

It's not the best to me, but it's definitely a great RPG (make sure you get the patch).
