Not according to the people on these forums it isnt... :lol:

It's a really good one and surprisingly (kinda like movies) one of the very few about vampyer and weres that is actually good. It's mindboggling how well vampyrism and weres speak to humans and how few movies and games about them are actually any good.

When modded, it looks pretty good. The visuals are still dated, but they're at least not as offensive to the eyes as Deus Ex these days.

Never played it, but I've heard good things.

It's another game in my very big backlog. So yeah haven't played it yet.

It is a very very good RPG, it is atleast ONE of the best, but the best? it is a matter of prefence more then cold hard objective parts.

I would say that the first fallout may be the best RPG ever, since ou did never have to fire a single bullet. But VTM:B is very very atmospheric and good, the only true downsides with it, was the lack of patching (community patch ftw), and the last part of the game, which degenerated into mindless combat.

Rarely have I seen a game where your race, mattered more, where focus of skills mattered more, and the overall world felt so good and right, so yeah it is ONE of the best. I wish a new one was made, and I wish Obsidian would make it.

Nay, but it is really close. I hold to Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn being the best RPG ever made.

I haven't played it in a while, but from what I remember you have to use the combat mechancis. They aren't optional as far as I recall. I mean, Fallout 3's FPS mechanics were terrible, but they gave you the VATS system so you didn't have to deal with it, which allowed the game to be pretty good.

I may have to reinstall it. I'll probably have to repatch it again, huh?

Almost. Wish they had more time to finish it. The last 1/4th or so was pretty bad.

It was awesome, it was a complete tradegy that it was released as a bug fest.

Strange... I remember buying this game from eb games a long time ago and then ended up returning for some reason I don't remember. All I know is i played it for like 20 minutes and then decided no thanks.

YAY! Yay. Yes it is one of the best RPG games of all time. I just installed it through Steam a week ago. Downloaded the unofficial patches. Played 60 hours... AMAZING game...

As far as writing and characters goes, yes, absalutely. It makes shit like Heavy Rain and Mass Effect look like a joke in comparison. Because they are.
