I'll check this game out when they show more of it but it has very impressive graphics. I wonder what engine this game will use or is it a custom one.

looked to me like a game in the style of Dear Esther or Amnesia, but I'm not sure. We have seen no gameplay

Looks cool, but I will hold in my enthusiasm until we see more of the finished product.

WOW looks almost real certainly one of the most impressive games I seen so far I'm amazed how they got so close to the real thing by just taking pictures and scanning them.

@bloodytides: Yea, its pretty easy with zbrush, modo, or mari. You just have to make sure the pictures have even lighting for tiling and are high enough resolution.

I played many games but few manage to even come close to that level of photo realism this is absolutely incredible. Glad I stuck to pc gaming =)

Don't think I ever seen a game where it strikes me as if it was really real life. The developers deserve some credit to make a game that good looking they must be pushing the limit to achieve such amazing looking graphics.

lol, if the game is any good it will be on PS4. No need for a PC to play this. Any good game that PC gets that's not RTS or MMO strategy will be on consoles this gen, or at least PS4.

Herms need to accept this fact and stop kidding themselves. lol at the, that's why I game on PC comments when most of what hermits use their PC for is to mod multiplatform games.

Something does not look quite right in the screen shots, maybe its the lighting or something it just looks more like a drawing. Highly detailed for sure though.

I can name 10 PC games that are amazing that aren't on PS4 off the top of my head. And implying your puny console could handle this on even 30fps 720p.... You guys get like 10 exclusives a year. We get a few hundred. What consoles have to accept is that they're inferior. lol

Ahh I have found memories of hemits claiming this same thing on games like Crysis, The Witcher 2 and Metro last gen. Isn't it funny how all those, too impossible for console, PC monsters ended up working quite well on those 8 year old systems when it was all said and done?

I suggest, you look again at the bold portion of the post I quoted. That is more to the tune of what was argued.

I am a realist, I know PC, even now, has vastly higher potential than consoles. However, developers can't make high quality games for only a few hundred people and hope to survive; their games have to have some kind of middle ground.

PC developers have to be able to leverage their game for the different user configurations of people to gain maximum saturation of a games adaptation. This is also why the full potential of those expensive cards hermits buy is never fully realized.

Falling short of the PC counterpart? lol there really is no such thing. There is just a maximum possible setting that more powerful PC's can take advantage of. Many "PC counterparts" fall short of the console version of mutiplatform games now. There is no standard setting for PC which is part of what makes PC great, but at the same time it is also part of what holds it back.

Yea that's why the people who made games like torchlight 2 were able to sell more than a couple of hundred and games like the Witcher 2 sold more than a million on pc so yea lol Or ask the people at Bohemia Interactive.

No such thing as falling short? I guess when the console version is struggling to do a stable 30 fps that's not falling short right? A least the pc version can be adjusted or modded while console have to wait until a patch goes through.

1. Yes, Witcher 2 sold...because they could leverage the game. No top end PC hardware required DERP, that was my point, seems you totally missed it or have very poor reading comprehension. Obviously, since The Witcher 2 came out on xbox 360 despite being 720p it was not much worse for ware, but according to herms was not supposed to be possible on consoles, my point stands.

2. Yes, no such thing as falling short with PC. Tell me, what is PC's standard? What ever fluffed up number you pull out I will make a fool by pulling up any PC graphics card chart and showing you all the DIFFERENT settings each card has for the SAME game lol just like what I was saying. 1. Ok so tell me how many people with lower end pc bought the game? Or the fact that I haven't heard any herm claim a game like Witcher 2 was impossible on console. And lol the Witcher 2 on xbox360 struggles with framerates in many areas and had a lot of jaggies including screen tearing. There were even particle effects removed from the original. And yea the lower quality textures not to mention the lighting is worse. The Witcher 2 is not 720p on xbox360 lol.

2. I'm talking about the version as a whole and what it can be achieved on it compared to the console version. Not sure how different graphic cards and settings have anything to do with the pc short comings. We are comparing the console and pc version not pc benchmarks. Also not everyone has the same console if your going bring up different pc specs how about I compare the xbox and playstation version.
