And to think the communist and socialists in the Obama administration are big Chavez and Mao fans. :|

The US isn't too good to fall victim to this same asshattery parade from these weasel politicians. As citizens, it is your responsibility to hold their feet to the fire no matter which party you belong to and which party is in power.

Obama is nowhere near the level of Chavez or Mao. Do you even know the history of Mao Zedong or do you not know anything about world history.

On topic, this nis the stupidest law I've ever heard. Chavez is another example of a democracy turned authoritarianistic government in latin america.

Reading comprehension ftw.

That's not what I said.

I did read it. You called Obama a communist fan indirectly comparing him to Chavez and Mao. You bringing up the U.S. and Obama has nothing to do with the politics of another country. In other words, why bring it up if it has nothing to do with U.S. policies?

Either way I think we can both agree that this is a stupid law. That is what we are discussing, not are own personal politics. That should be in another board.

No offense mate, and I am not the biggest Obama fan, but what was the point of bringing him up?

We are discussing a communist pig limiting electricty and water to his own people.

I actually didn't bring him up and talk about him personally. Read what I said.

"And to think the communist and socialists in the Obama administration are big Chavez and Mao fans."

I brought it up because there are people who praise individuals like Chavez (which relates to this thread) and the killer Mao.

This should be known, especially if you're a US citizen. These people should not have so much power in any administration.

Looks like they finally found the root cause of Venezuela's rising crime rate. At last, the country will return to peace and prosperity, as all countries enjoyed before the advent of "Spacewar!".

I'm not one to go off topic yet again but do you have any evidence to back up that statement? Either way if you do or don't it is still off topic becaise it has nothing to do with U.S. policies.

Actually, that is not what I said in an indirect way at all. I was talking about his appointments, which are full of radicals. Anita Dunn has praised Mao. Multiple individuals in his administration and close to him have praised Chavez and his "revolution". This is very important if you care about your personal freedom when it comes to gaming or anything else, so it is directly in response to the OP and the topic at hand. These people should not be in the administration if they don't hold the majority of American's values. This is why the communist radical Van Jones got the boot. People are waking up, luckily.

As soon as the 2 party system dies, we can rise up from the ashes of corruption.

By the way, explain how the citizens of the US persoanl freedoms have been taken. How is the US and Venezuela the same? What exactly are the American values today because they could mean different things when talking to people of this nation. Is there a connection or is this just political propaganda like the media does everyday.

Obama is a hell lot better president than the trash we had in the past. Only people that really don't like Obama are people that live in trailers and watch FOX NEWS.

The ironic thing is that some of those people that live in trailers that hate Obama because they think he is a socialist live off of welfare checks.

America isn't anything like Venezuela. If you think that it is you need to get off the couch and start visiting other places around the world before pulling something out of your behind. The majority of people that don't like Obama are evangelical people that like watching FOX NEWS.

I guess it's a good thing I'm not poor or live in a trailer.

Those kind of generalizations are sad, though, as many welfare freeloaders voted for Obama.

I never said that every Obama critic lives in a trailer. I take politcal sicence in college and many Obama critics are conservatives that have a good life and good families and not from a trailer or a redneck. Labeling is not something I like. However, we can both agree that the American public in it's history, has always been gullible.

Either way, while I hate the 2 party system, you do realize that this country has been dominated by 2 parties borrowing from Hamiltonian and Jeffersonian nationalism.

True, it makes it seem like America is a very limited democracy since realistically only two people can win the Presidential election.

I don't know, a friend of mine is from Russia (which is not really the same as Venezuela but anyway) he got a green card and moved to the U.S. (now a citizen) and he is treated nicely and has a good paying job. Also has semi poor english.

Well, Russia is a second world country. Venezuela is a third world country.

??? Yes it is. http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/third_world_countries.html As well as mine (Colombia)

I learned last year that it was second world. hmm....

There is no such thing like second world. Some authors , the minority , consider second world countries the ones that compose the acronym BRIC , Brazil , Russia , India and China , I for one would live in a second world country as I'm brazillian lol , but it's not common to use this definition. :P
