I have PS3 and I need to knw is it better to put PS3 in Vertical or Horizontal and if you dont know vertical is making the console stand and horizontal is letiing the console lay on something. I think vertical is good becasue heat will rise up but my friend says it will destroy the PS3.

It should work perfect either way, it is designed to work either way.  I personally like mine horizonal.

I don't have a PS3 but I have to keep my 360 horizontal on the desk I have it on (the one i'm using right now) because it's not very stable, and when I was moving my computer around I had my 360 vertical and it fell straight over, thank god it was fine! It still works but now I keep it horizontal so it can't fall anymore. I don't really know the structure or where the fans and vents are for the PS3, but obviously it's safe either way or they wouldn't advertise it vertical if it wasn't safe. Just make sure it's on a sturdy surface that doesn't shake or move easily.

Horizontal. It is a lot more stable and you don't have to worry about it tipping over.

It doesn't matter unless the available space in your entertainment center dictates one orientation or the other.
