VGA's PS3 Exclusive is.......GTA V

I cant go into detail about howI know this information as it would expose someone and I wouldnt want him to get into trouble. Just trust me on this one. It's GTA V. This would explain why Rockstar didnt mention what system its going to be on in the trailer. They were waiting for this. I sold my PS3 a couple months ago. I guess im going to buy another one. :D

Yeah I'm sure Rockstar is randomly going back to being exclusive to the Playstation 3 what with most of GTA IV's sales being on the 360 and all. It makes no sense for them to not stay multiplatform. And yeah, The Last of Us is pretty obviously not GTA V.

If you watch the full ant clip from the teaser on lastofus.com, you will see a brain parasite breaking through an ant's skull. Strong hints for Resident Evil or Syphon Filter. Reasons:

- RE - pretty obvious - parasites getting out of their host's head;

- Syphon Filter - apparently that type of fungi specializes on different species of insects. Similar to Syphon Filter virus.

Not very excited about either, but I think RE6 will cause more ruckus in SW, so I hope it's that one ...

Anyway I think Rockstar promised Sony an exclusive that was never delivered on, first it was LA Noire which went multi, then Agent, which isn't happening...also, didn't M$ pay take two 75mill to make gta4 a non exclusive? I'm going off memory and rumors here so I could be wrong, but...you never know, I highly doubt it but TS could be right....really doesn't explain the last of us teasers though, lol.

Hell no. Rockstar has made it clear the platform they're focusing on is the 360.

Plus there's just no way such a huge name would go exclusive again, there's too much money to be lost.

Yeah right, GTA IV sold around 10 million on Xbox 360, the PS3 version comes pretty close as well, between the two console version this game did phenomenally well, sold more than LA Noire and Red Dead Redemption combined. Funny thing is Rockstar game sales between these 3 titles is pretty even for the most part, split down the middle for Xbox 360 and PS3 sales. I don't see GTA V being an exclusive at all, considering that half of Rockstar revenues from each game come from one of the two ports it would be sabotaging the company to make their best selling IP an exclusive.lamprey263

To be fair, the PSP GTA's weren't canonical...they were more spinoffs more than anything.

Now if the PSP got GTA 5 exclusive to it for example...that would be a huge deal.

What are you talking about? Handheld markets aren't the same as console markets. GTA is huge in the console market, so I don't see how what your saying has any bearing on this situation. It's also no like the psp hasn't sold boat loads anyway, more than either HD system.

Also, the PSP games developed by random Rockstar studio don't hold nearly the same amount of weight as a main entry in the franchise created specifically by Rockstar North.

The more I think about it, the more it kind of makes sense. A PS3 exclusive that we "Won't believe". This rules out any sequel to a current PS3 exclusive since those are all believable and not very surprising at all. A new IP wouldn't be something unbelieveable because its just that, a new IP. New IPs may spark interest but its ahrdly something that could be labelled as unbelieveable.

So that leads me to think that it would have to be a game series that is already on the market that people would not expect to be a PS3 exclusive.

The more I think about it, the more it kind of makes sense. A PS3 exclusive that we "Won't believe". This rules out any sequel to a current PS3 exclusive since those are all believable and not very surprising at all. A new IP wouldn't be something unbelieveable because its just that, a new IP. New IPs may spark interest but its ahrdly something that could be labelled as unbelieveable.

So that leads me to think that it would have to be a game series that is already on the market that people would not expect to be a PS3 exclusive.

It would be awesome if it were true but we all know that GTA 5 is not gonna be a ps3 exclusive. Can you imagine all the 360 and PC fanboys whining and crying and boycotting, trolling if GTA 5 was a ps3 exclusive? If anything the ps3 will get GTA 5 DLC as a timed exclusive or something.

I'm not going to go into detail but Killzone 2 was a far better game and the MP was a lot more fun. The maps in KZ3 were awful as well. The only good ones were the ones they brought back from KZ2
