VGA's PS3 Exclusive is.......GTA V

I know it's not and I hope it's not. Why? because GTA V can easily be a multiplatform, so we could just get an extra game.

actually I heard rumors that gears is exclusive to sony now. The discs sold to xbox gamers will now melt when its inserted into drives. Trust me, I got an insider voice.... inside my mindDiviniuz

I know your joking but if gears ever when over to playstation that would be the nail in the coffin for the 360 (at least for me it would). The only reasons I keep my 360 now is for gears 3, left 4 dead and some of the features of xbox live. I have gamed more on my ps3 this year than I ever had before because MS is not impressing me anymore.

GTA 5 DLC might be a timed exclusive for one console. If Sony is smart they will do like MS did with GTA 4 and pay Rockstar a boat load of money to make the expansion packs exclusive to ps3.

I dunno, GTA is a system seller for sure. Maybe it isn't even for the ps3, but the ps4. That resets the userbase and is a pretty compelling reason to choose one system over another.

My point is they wouldn't sell that much less because the game will shift systems. People would go out and buy a ps3 and the game so they could play it. Not too many games are like this, but GTA is one of them.

Basically, if they made some deal with Sony, they would make out from that deal and still selling close to what they would have, and Sony would make out by shifting tons of systems. I think MS would fight pretty hard to keep it from happening, though.

Are you under the impression that Sony is bankrupt or something? How can there be all these ps3 and game ads from them if that's the case?

And, again, if you do basic math you fail to look at the big picture. R* won't only be selling the game to current ps3 owners, but to people willing to buy a ps3 to play the game. If they even came close to the number of copies they sold with GTA IV, but didn't have to pay licensing fees, the game would already make more in revenue than GTA IV. Nevermind that the system is cheaper and current user base us much larger than either was when GTA IV came out.

I'm not even saying that this is all likely, but to act like it isn't possible is plain idiotic and small-minded.

Hell no. Rockstar has made it clear the platform they're focusing on is the 360.

Plus there's just no way such a huge name would go exclusive again, there's too much money to be lost.
