You do know that the average income rises with inflation don't you? If your theory was applied 20 years ago, you would be saying that we would all be earning an average of 30 grand, and paying 80 dollars for games. That's not how it works.

Heck if your theory was true, nobody would be able to afford anything! Haven't you noticed that people earn more than they used to. Inflation applies to business wage expenses too.

Actually, most games for the original NES cost around $60 USD back in the late 1980s. Considering that $60 is the current average price for most console games today, video games have actually become cheaper by your logic. Who knows...maybe they'll be even cheaper in 10 years, relative to average incomes.
