This is typical of ITV, and Titchmarsh, to air something as biased as this.

Yeah..video games promote things that have existed for what..10,000 years? Maybe more.
Funny, because I'm not violent, in fact I was more violent back in high school when I didn't play video games. I'm also far from sexist and I'm not racist, I don't look at color. An ignorant POS is an ignorant POS, color does not give him a free pass. Hatred also doesn't describe me.
0 for 4! Nice try, try again!
Is it this, "Alan Titchmarsh"???
The gardening TV Presenter!!!
How can he talk about Video Games???
Also, don't you know? He kills weeds for a living. The bastard is killing real organisms, so how can he accuse us about fake ones???
(Just Kidding, we all know that Video Games Rule anyway!)))
I love how the audience or other guests don't even consider the "pro-games" opinion that parents should actually monitor what their kids play.General_X
Preposterous, that would require both effort and responsibility, and that would simply not do. :o
The thing that bothers me most about dbags like this is that they continually say that video games are for KIDS! While kids do play video games, surveys show that 50-60% of video game players are ages 18-35. I'm 31 years old and love playing video games. Almost all of my friends play video games and not a one of them is under 21 years old. As a grown adult I have the ability to decide what games are appropriate for me and my kids, no one else.
Why does no one seem to complain about the movie industry? I see 12 year olds going to R rated movies all the time and no one seems to blink an eye about it. There is no Sex, Violence, or Racism in movies? If the critics of video games think that's the case then they are either delusional or stupid.
Alan Titchmarsh is known for being an absolute prat off camera. We're all used to ignorant swipes on the industry by luddites like him by now.

A sad but true point.
I say this as a parent: A lot of issues could just be cleared up if their parents would pay attention to what their kids are doing. If you notice you child reacting badly to games (it's rare, but it happens), then stop them from playing it. It's that simple.
...and that video is garbage.
I felt bad for the one guy who was pro-videogames, as there was no way he was going to the sway the opinion of those close minded people. That lady was loud, annoying, and just plain ignorant. And the old guy on the right just seemed lost and confused...JMR09lmao yeah,, im a war gamer
Why would he talk about video games on TV when he clearly knows nothing about video games?

I doubt any person that hates video games as much as that woman does knows anything about them.
Though it also seems that whenever someone hates a genre/entertainment medium they're ignorant about what they're hating.
That's just some ignorant shi* . As anyone else has said , you don't see us wielding knives with AK-47's strung across our backs hijacking a person's car and running people over with it . People always say that video games promotes all this kind of stuff but yet people forgot to put movies into the context . There's even more violence , hatred , racism (can't say for sexism) in movies . Heck , 13 year olds are watching R rated movies . I watched American Pie when I was 10 years old . What about the internet ? And I bet you can't even believe this but even our newspaper and the news on the tv promotes all this stuff !
I for one think that gaming is a pleasure . To me it gives me basic survival knowledge on how to survive in a gunfight , (minus the respawns and convenientlyplaced weapons) I would know what to do and how to protect myself for a couple of minutes before I die or maybe even survive . Do this to a person that doesn't play video games and they'll be dead in a second .
I just ask myself this , how can people be so blind ?
EDIT : You have my sniper rifle to deal with him swiftly .
Just thought you ought to know that the women on the clip also wrote this
http://www.juliepeasgood.com/sextips.shtml
I would rather let my children play a violent scene and be explained the context of it, than read this. Its the same old same old argument from these people.
The women goes on and on about how she's against violence for entertainment. If that is the case, why isn't she attacking the movie industry as well? :oRacer_XLRI agree if she is so against violence in entertainment then why does she focus all the attention on the video game industry and not the movie industry with movies such as the taking of the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan.
What was that sensationalist garbage? Diid you hear the crowd cheering that c*** as she BS'ed about some skewed study and boo the guy when spoke the truth? They were like a bunch of sheep mindlessly following the herd. That would make a good joke if they weren't serious :? How can one be so ignorant?

Well she said she thought video games were more addictive, not that I agree with her, but that was her comeback.
I remember watching it. Every time that woman opened her mouth I facepalmed.xTheExploitedYour face must be sore by now. :P
i love how that woman was defending the movie industry like its not at fault also
movies are as much to blaim or even more so then video games.
Mindless publicity whores like that woman should be round up and shot or something...
Someday some idiot like her will actualy manage to sucede in something like this, and some countries are gonna start banning violence in movies and games...
and my BFG9000 :PHow awesome would LOTR have been with that?!:P Yeah, but there wouldn't be any sequels to Fellowship of the Ring...[QUOTE="Rockman999"][QUOTE="Legendaryscmt"]
