When you leave Soul Caliber 1 at the title screen on for 24 hours straight you will play with all characters naked.

If you hold the A button in Street Fighter IV for 35 minutes at the ending of the game (credits), you can see Chun Li naked.
Another pokemon red/blue...I know :P
When you enter for a safari game, after you buy the ticket but before you get out in the open, you must walk from one pillar to the next 155 times and when you enter the safari you'll enter the mew world where pokemon over 100 lvl appear and you can catch mew. And you must have missigno in your team or you won't be able to hit them. Never tried it tbh, knew missigno was a 'virus' :D
I also heard another strange one in crystal, that you can catch mewtwo atfer you beat red 100 times. supposedly a corridor appears behind him and you can enter it and the only encounter is 100 lvl slowbros and slowkings and at the end is mewtwo at lvl 101. Pretty sure I had beat red over 100 times, nothing happened.
[QUOTE="funsohng"]The numerous ways you can get MewDerekLoffinThere actually is a legit way to get Mew. GameTrailers has the method. It isn't something you'd ever consider, but apparently it works. Yeah i did it and got my Mew :D No external equipment needed or anything just an ordinary game of pokemon and a gameboy to play it.. I remember being told that if you use the SS Anne "trick" which allowed you near the little car in the port that you could use strength to move the truck and reveal a tunnel, the tunnel went to somewhere stupid i can't remember like the Elite 4 place or something and you walked up to a table and got a Mew.
My brother tricked me into buying that horrible pile of garbage Shenmue by telling me it was like GTA "But ground level and full of gang fights" :|
You can create mixed pokemon by breeding different pokemon together. Nobody actualy told me this, but I saw this kid with a shirt that said "Poke-mutt" and showed a pikachu mixed with some dog thing. I can't tell you how many times I tried to make a poke-mutt.

The SNES version of Mortal Kombat had a blood code too.
ChubbyGuy40
Wait didn't it? I thought it did.
I remember some guy told me there was this secret green ninja in Mortal Kombat that was really rare to see and you even got to fight him! I never saw it (I know it's Reptile but it's still funny to me :P )
Nope, no blood code in MK for the SNES at all.
When the rocket countdown reach week 100, you'll ask to go to the moon and catch Jarachi in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.
stevoqwerty
Smae happened to me also.
Hover boots in Zelda: A link to the Past (SNES)
Playable Zero in Mega Man 7 (SNES)
Sky temple in Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
Luigi in Super Mario 64 (N64)
Resurrect Aerith in Final Fantasy VII (PSX)
Vampires in Lord of the Rings (DOS)
And of course, this:
Nintendo cares about their consumersSnyper-007

My friend told me Crysis was on the PS3 back in 07 when I first got it. When I looked it up and it wasn't he kept denying it.
I can't remember anything from when I was younger though.
Ahh, so many lies circled Pokemon Blue/Red...
That game is legendary, and I wasted many hours of my early years chasing these fables about the game involving everything from catching Mew to level 141 Cloysters to level 100 snorlaxes, making baby Mr. Mimes and even getting back to the SS Anne.
Good times, still my favorite game of all time...

You do know that you can indeed fight Reptile in MK1 right?
Anyone heard of the red hadouken in Street Fighter 2? Red hadoukens exists. It's a game bug. But the part about the red hadouken dealing more damage is a lie.
jhcho2
Game bug?
Do you mean this?
Because that does do a bit more damage than a regular Hadoken.
* If you hide behind a wall for a few minutes, you recover health
* even if you see an expansive vista past a river, or a short ledge (or what ever) there are invisible barriers preventing you from going that way
* earning sums of money in the hundreds and thousands can be accmplished in about 20 minutes
* a backpack can store dozens of swords and wardrobe of armor varieties, while fitting conveniently on your back
* there's always a minimap of where ever you are, that conveniently follows you around
* you always know the health of opponents and other threats to you by a hovering bar
* there are icon prompts to help you execute elaborate combat and acrobatic maneuvers
* even unarmored enemies require 4 full ammo clips to killAdobeArtist
I think you missed the point of the thread... lol
I liked the one about Pokemon Red/Blue where you trade a Blastoise for a Charizard and shut of the game mid trade, you would get a Charstoise lol
Loads of Pokemon lies, talking about how to catch mew, celebi etc. One of my friends told me I could get a helicopter in diddy kong racing and all sorts of weird stuff. Pretty much any game I played back when I was a kid had stuff made up about them by my friends, haha.

That's why I said it at the end. I never, ever once saw one of his apperances when I had MK for the SNES.
All the "How to catch Mew rumors."
That you could play as Luigi in Super Mario 64.
That you could bring Aerith back in FFVII.
That Master Hand was playable in Super Smash Bros.
that one started off as another exploit that would show you samus naked, naked as in no textures on her and her being displayed just as a polygon :P, if you have ness stand right beside samus and then use ness's pk lightning, you steer the lightning into ness causing him to get knocked into samus, at which point you pause the game and see "naked samus" this isnt a lie actually, it was featured in an issue of nintendo power at some point :POh yeah I forgot about this one.
3. (Super Smash Bros 64) If Samus got hit by a charged up beam from another Samus and you paused the game at the right time....you could see Samus' bewbs.

I knew about this but I heard there was a way to actually see her naked, like with textures and stuff (of course I didn't really know what textures were back then).

They eventually added in that feature. The original Street Fighter II on SNES didn't have that. But if you perform a hadouken say....50 times....if you're lucky, a red one will come out. It's just a colour difference. Capcom eventually made it a standard move.
