Can't wait till the superior version comes to 360.
Lmao keep dreaming buddy, 360 is a port.

[QUOTE="iwo4life"][QUOTE="Redmoonxl2"][QUOTE="iwo4life"]Ok so get this scenario. Sega puts in Online play for VF5 and it is absolute garbage. Cocky reviewer who knows everything then scores the game lower based on the fact that online play is stinky and basically useless. Now Sega has a game that is reviewed poorly and it hurts sales. Sega knows this game better than any of the reviewers or people on this board. If they say that online play cant be done properly I respect that and I feel they should be able to deliver the vision they had for the game. Should bands have to put crappy radio friendly songs on CDs just to appease the masses and their record labels or should they be able to release material for the fans? I choose option 2.Jack-Thompson
I can see a game like Oblivion or Dead Rising maybe not having online, but a fighting game with no online is just a rental or bargain bin material.Jack-ThompsonI suggest both of you get some friends. You know the kind that show up to your house. All of the greatest Fighters ever have had 0 online modes. Just because DOA4 and Capcom vs SNK 2 had online doesn't mean that the whole fighting genre is dead without it. If you knew 1 shred about how the fighting engine for games like Tekken or VF work you wouldn't even be complaining about no online. They don't work. I have had enough of this thread, it isn't like 1 person is going to reverse the strangle hold that xbot live has on you.
If a game isn't long like Oblivion and lacks online then it's not worth playing it, online gaming is the now and the future. Without online(and this comes from a ex-pc gamer) games get boring way too fast and are not worth 60 bucks.
At least the 360 version will have rumble which is a big part of console gaming.
P.s. Me and my friends enjoy playing over XBL and these are my offline friends, not to be confused with your Myspace buddies.
I didn't want to come back to this thread but this is an ignorant post and you are going to get some right back. Perhaps your friends don't like you enough to hang with you. iwo4life
I love how you would attack my age. I am older than you are.iwo4life
However you are so mature that you have to play video games online all the time no matter how bad it turns out. If my friends aren't available I don't play fighting games. Simple as that. iwo4life
Do you complain that those Wii and GC party games aren't online? iwo4life
I have people over from time to time to drink, or have some fun before we go out. Thats when these games are fun.iwo4life
I just care about the numerical score. It got a 9.1KeyWiiProbably the most arbitrary and least meaningful part of most reviews... Can't imagine why a guy like you would make that your primary focus.
They said VF5 is the Best fighter Out.It lost points for not being Online.ragrdoll21
Well that's what I was trying to indicate, VF5 received almost as good of a score as DOA4 (9.1 vs. 9.2), without online play.

Oh well. I suggest you don't buy this game then. I am not a salesperson for Sega or Namco. Enjoy DOA5 and Capcom vs SNK 3. They should be fun online....I guess.iwo4life

I have to believe that the 360 version will have some online features, because I just can't understand why it's gonna take 6 months just to port it to the 360.

That's right, keep waiting fanboy. Wait, wait wait, just to find out the Dpad sucks. SolidTy

First off, IÂ am an Assassin on the game with the SixAxis
No problem winning over 315 wins, 2 losses.
1up definately is retarded in this respect. If you played VF4, you would know 1up screwed up.
Secondly, Of course an Arcade stick overall would be better, but that's an extra $65-$85, and you need two if you want a bud to play with you, so...yeah, it's quite the comeback.
At least with the PS2/PS3 the Dpad is great, so no worries if you don't buy an Arcade stick.
Not many people buy Joysticks, unlike me (I own 2 Xbox Sticks, and 4 PS2 sticks), most just buy the game, and REQUIRING a joystick purchase is not good because of a faulty Dpad.
I would like to own it on 360 too, but I am dissappointed By M$ Dpad, as the rest of the controller is outstanding.
