u do know that everytime someone buys a comp that isnt made by mac it counts towards vista sales right. U could also say its owning sony big time. 10mil+40mil is alot greater than whatever sony has sold. people like you need to find better ways to spend your time

there are a lot more pc's sold than consoles every year. it's not a surprise that vista sold well.
and i usually don't add the cost of vista or windows in general because they come with most pc's that normal ppl buy. for instance you can get a dual core with 1 gig of ram, a 20 inch wide screen lcd, 250 gig harddrive, and dvdrw for $671 off the dell site. that's a normal and good pc that someone would buy. now if you're a gamer just buy a $300 buck video card and you're set.
Vista is the best thing MS could have done to linux. Ubuntu is much more easier to install, has better/more preinstall drivers, more secure, less virus, moe stabile, and is FREE.

Talk about jumping to conclusions...something like 90% of the world's computers run Windoze, is it shocking that a large percent of them would upgrade to Vista? No.
Typically large companies with multiple business lines keep their finances seperate, so that if one goes down it won't ruin the other. It's plausible their Xbox product line sees no funding from Vista at all. Hard to say.

Wow thats crazy seeing How vista Needs some pretty good Hardware to install it. so basicall if your PC can run Vistas you can run Half Life 2 ,Company of heroes,CNC3 etc etc

The point I was really trying to get at is that they are two different consumer markets. A much higher percent of people own a computer (which probably runs windows) than has a video game console. It really isn't a fair comparison.
I'm pretty sure that xbox 360's aren't packaged in with every single PC sold... although that would be pretty awesome if a pc could play 360 games.Codename33
Um in a way it can. Rainbow Six LV, Graw 2, Oblivion,CNC3 etc etc etc but 360 can't play our really good games like World of warcraft ,Company of Heroes, Half Life 2 with Counter strike and other mods,and ofcourse le crem de la crem Crysis.

I didn't used to hate x360 but as time has gone on with only one game currently worth getting on x360 that isn't on pc its pointless not to mention all the aragont lems that have made me hate x360 much more than anything else
