Lunar SSS Lunar EB Dark Wizard Third World War Final Fight Samurai Showdown Shining Force Snatcher Syndicate Vay Wing Commander Earthworm Jim Eternal Champions The tech may not have been great, but systems are about games IMO. And the Sega CD had some great games. It is nowhere near the worst (not saying it was the best either though)KK, I retract a lil bit since I am a long time Sega fan. :)[QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="SecretPolice"]Relax, me was a Sega Pioneer but teh CD wasn't a great thing tho there were a few interesting games on it.
The Boxing, Night Trap & Sewer Shark come to mind but really, the tech wasn't ready at that time.

But one thing I didn't mention is that bad boy had a failure rate at launch that was nothing to joke about. :?
I was just bustin' your balls anyways. I did love my sega sd though. The original model that fit underneath the sega (and looked a hell of a lot better) did have a high failure rate :( ...mine worked till I sold it thankfully. But they fixed those issues with the side by side modelOr it's the one that causes u the most jelly. :cool:ispeakfactYou're definitely in the running for most unimaginative troll of all time.
[QUOTE="SecretPolice"]You shut your dirty whore mouth :xI dunno, me thinks...Sega CD... rawsavon
Just because you payed $300+ for it doesn't change the fact it sucked.
I'm betting it's because MS dropped core to go 99% casual in pursuit of the Wii's pot of gold. Heil68oops, me thinks you posted in the wrong thread and on top of that, with the same old stale load of bunk. :P

It's a shame cause it is a nice piece of hardware. Doesn't really mean anything if it doesn't have the games to back it up though.

Indeed, iPad 4 is a fer better piece of hardware and has far more and better games
Soon Windows8 tablets will flood the handheld market with top AAA-AAAA games too, the reason to own a Vita is non existant
VIta has the better hardware in some ways with quad core cpu/gpu not dual core like ipad.. But I don't care how powerful they are, without a good way to use it since touch only controls are so limited.[QUOTE="nameless12345"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] You shut your dirty whore mouth :x

It was a good idea on paper but executed poorly.

I never said it was one of the best. I just said it is nowhere near the bottom...vast difference in those 2 statements. There have been a great many far worse platforms[QUOTE="nameless12345"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] It had some awesome games...3 of my all time fav's. a damn good accomplishment rawsavon

GS has rated them below the industry average.campzorthe game review industry is full of incompetent people who are either trading high scores for the right to get to look at the game first, and I suspect money might be changing hands as well. GS is a site with credibillty. They take extra time to make their reviews to do them right. Look at Skyward Sword, which many many reviewers gave perfect scores to despite the fact that it is a deeply flawed game. Maybe GS's review is a bit low but they are the closest to the truth

I thought they were just a little above IGN in game review terms...
But then again, it's their right to express their opinions.
oops, me thinks you posted in the wrong thread and on top of that, with the same old stale load of bunk. :P Nope, correct thread and if you actually think about it, it makes perfect business sense. This can all be traced back to 2009 when MS decided to drop core. Look it up. Facts are facts.[QUOTE="Heil68"]I'm betting it's because MS dropped core to go 99% casual in pursuit of the Wii's pot of gold. SecretPolice

A few good games is all I ever get 1st year from a new system and is usually enough for me. 3ds does load a little quicker but vita's games are bigger so its understandable. Phones load faster but more frequently which I find more annoying. VIta is everything I wanted in a portable so I think it was very well executed even if the market hasn't agreed yet.. Only disappointment to me was 3rd party but being I got ninja gaiden I'm not complaining yet.I never said it was one of the best. That's debatable actually. The CD-I was better at FMV than Sega CD was. As were Amiga CD32 and 3DO. Sega CD was just saved by a few decent ports and exclusives. But as a console addon it was disappointing to say the least.

so, to you, a system is not about the games but the actual system capabilities /...you must f*cking love the vita then Capabilities can make all the difference depending on interest.. I agree that capabilities 'set the table' so to speak. But games are what 'makes' a system IMO. You can have all the capabilities in the world, but what does it matter if there are no games you want to play on it? He was asserting that the Sega CD was one of the worst systems ever. I said that is far from the case as it had many great games (I listed them ITT). There have been many far worse systems (even with greater capabilities) b/c their games were balls. Sega CD is not the best...but also far from worstThat's debatable actually. The CD-I was better at FMV than Sega CD was. As were Amiga CD32 and 3DO. Virtual Boy and Sega 32x

Honestly, I had more fun with Warioland for Virtual boy than any Vita game i've played so far.

And yet the Sega CD had better games than CD-I and 3DO, lol. the 3DO was filled with highly acclaimed games, and some of those highly accliamed games were ported and still highly acclaimed. That's ridiculousi would buy a Vita bundle "Memory stick and 3 games in a heart beat."for $99...
not $149...not $129..but $99..thats the price point it needs to be at...
