Ridge Racer, RIDGE RACERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sorry, it was my duty to post this :xwow, mow that's what I call a strong line up, and that's first party only, Nintendo, take notes!

Um, I think they did. They let third parties succeed at 3DS launch so they stop complaining about not being able to sell on their platforms, but then people blame them for not having a Mario/Zelda ready to push units. They're screwed regardless.
To be fair, the 3DS has quite the 2012 line up.

third parties didn't really succeed with the 3DS launch, the 3DS launch was terrible by 1st and 3rd parties with only a couple of above mediocre titles. They are not screwed regardless, they just didn't have anywhere near as strong a launch as the Vita is seemingly going to have, in neither quality nor quantity.
Oh I agree, the 2012 3DS line up is brilliant, my 3DS is getting dusty so it is a good job! :)

I don't know what 3DS launch line-up you were looking at because it was garbage. Best game there was Super Street Fighter IV.Xbox had a better line-up unless you mean portable which goes to Lynx. Also, Hotshots golf. Really? Can Sony release an original golf game and stop this hotshots rip-off crap?dr-professional
im not sure if your trolling or being serious.

Best game there was Super Street Fighter IV.I don't know what post you're reading, because I was under the impression that you were saying Nintendo should "take notes" on getting so many good first party games out at launch. I explained why Zelda, Star Fox weren't at launch. I was in no way talking about whether the launch games were good
But on that topic, I quite enjoy SSFIV 3D, Pilotwings, Rayman 3D. I also had Pokemon White and Okamiden that month, so I didn't need a whole lot.

They deserved all the hate they got because if they were going to let 3rd parties take the spotlight at launch they should've you know actually make sure 3rd parties were going to deliver which they didn't. The best game at launch was SSF4 which isn't even very good to play on the system IMO due to the 3DS's small and clicky D-Pad. Rayman 3DS... how many times has that game been ported already? DS games don't make the 3DS line-up better since they aren't 3DS games and could just be played on any DS system.. Nintendo screwed up big time at launch.[QUOTE="razgriz_101"][QUOTE="dr-professional"]Xbox had a better line-up unless you mean portable which goes to Lynx. Also, Hotshots golf. Really? Hmm Not talking about 360 for the first one. Portable line-up till this day is best on Lynx, the problem was no one knew what it was. (almost.) Everybody'sgolf is literally hotshots with small differences. Peter Molyneux stated that the 3DS is not for gaming. Only the last one am I not serious.[QUOTE="bonesawisready5"][QUOTE="FlamesOfGrey"] I don't know what 3DS launch line-up you were looking at because it was garbage. That's a pretty nice opinion you've got there.
I don't see why you think Nintendo has any choice in the matter. Third parties are free to make anything they want, its not like they can tell them what to do at all.
And I know Rayman 2 has been ported a lot, but I enjoyed it. And why are you talking about DS games don't make the line up better? I just said I had two awesome DS games to play during launch, thus I didn't mind a softer launch line up. What, are you trying to argue with me about the games I've enjoyed? I don't understand what you're doing, as you're starting a debate about DS software being relevant to 3DS software debates when all I said was i played two DS games during that time period.
I don't understand how that is relevant to my comment at all.
I did not expect to seeMotorStorm RC. Thanks!
I just found out about Unit 13 from a gamespot that game looks very good.
yeah it's easely the best launch in gaming history, especially if you add 3rd party titles like Katamari or Disgaea 3
It seems so and it looks to get even better with games like Persona 4: The Golden, Ruin , Bioshock, Dragon's Crown, LittleBigPlanet, Lord of Apocalypse, FF X , Resistance: Burning Skies etc.yeah it's easely the best launch in gaming history, especially if you add 3rd party titles like Katamari or Disgaea 3
