yeah i was brainstorming about that after reading the topic, and that's probably how they'll do it. but i meant the PSP's streaming, not the vita's. vita at least has a second analog.BrunoBRS

Well it is not all games that is compatible

A year ago I used to play BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger using remote play, it worked pretty well for me.

If you connect your PSP through the PS3's own network ( ex. connect to the network that says PS3#### when you go wifi ), you'll never lag

I get massive lag even over LAN. Remote Play sucks. Nice idea that isn't fully developed.

how will get ps3 games on psv will we need to buy a vita chip for the game will there be some kinda code how.?!

thelordofpies

The PS Vita and PS3 can connect three different ways (in code):

  • I/O serial/media data sent from PS3 to PS Vita
  • I/O serial/media data sent from PS Vita to PS3
  • Onlineserverto locate the IP of both a specific PS3 and specific PS Vita machine for steaming simple data

Those would be the only three ways I can think of that would work for streaming communication.

Someone mentioned an Onlive type of service - that last scenario I pointed it is sort of like it but, with simple file streaming between the two units. Video compression will matter. SCE is patenting and working on quite a few video streaming things to take PS3 games on the cloud but, it is not certain if or when that service will arive to the public. There is quite a bit of infrastructure SCEN must lay down in order to make that happen.
