Well it your opinion, but you only want a PS2 for MGS? Have you play games like shadow of the colossus, FFXII, Okami, GT 3 & 4, or many more?

I think the Xbox was one of the best systems made, and not because of how Microsoft made it, but because of how I made it.  The mod-ability of the Xbox was the reason the system itself has any kind of following.  That's why microsoft did not try hard to kill the chips and the homebrew, cause it was making people want the system, and they new the 360 was coming soon.

The worst system made, has to be the PS3.  Cause of price, lack of support, flat out lies by sony during launch, and the fact that Sony must hate it's fanbase to treat them that way. 

Xbox even though I played it a lot more than the GC I was really dissapointed with the exclusives like KOTOR, Halo, Forza, Fable. There were far too many PC ports although I liked that as my PC had no chance in running Doom 3, Far Cry, HL2 so I had a chance to play them at least. Still all I played was GTA 3, VC, SA with the customisable soundtracks, despite previously completting them all on the PS2, I must have clocked up at least 100 on each game on each platform just messing about.

Still the GC had the better exclusives like MP, SSBM, Wind Waker, F Zero, Pikmin, god I want a GC again thinking about it I must play Chibi Robo, Battaltion Wars, Paper Mario, Baiten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia and loads more, whats not to like about the GC?

Apart from a few good games Xbox was worse then the Cube.

Microsoft knew that so they killed it off early, I hope the same fate wont happen to the 360

I love the playstation brand, but I bought a cube before I even bought a ps2 because of resident evil and I've got to say the cube sucked.  The cube was lacking third games that I liked.  The only people that can say the cube was better than the xbox are those sheep who mostly play nintendo first party titles.deebo_x

Alright then ill keep an eye out for that, ill try and tally up as accurate as possible.

On one side, the Xbox had great services, on the other the Cube had some good 1st party.

Still, I say Cube was worse, since I am an Xbox fan....I know it's biased, but I can admit it.

Just that fact that cube was missing all the ps2/xbox kills it. No online, No high def, huge A button. I owned both and Xbox killed Cube IMHO. I already voted also ..Also I owned both systems.

It's hard to say but I've noticed that a lot of the good X-Box games are also on some other platform, something that can't be said about Gamecube... RKFS

No  they werent, PS2 was, it had the far superior gaming libary, unless its not about the games anymore?

Xbox had a far more vaired lineup and had online, so GC was far worse IMO. 

The only reason I bought a GC was for the RE franchise, with out it the cube would have been complete garbage to me. 

Xbox at least had Halo 1 and 2, KOTOR, Ninja Gaiden, Sport games, Forza. ect.

Xbox, it has no good exclusives.  Exclusives determine a console's worth: GC+PS2 is better than PS2+Xbox, since Xbox's best games are on PS2 or PC, but nothing has MP, Tales of Symphonia, Zelda WW, Fire Emblem, SSBM (endless replay value), Pikmin 1and2, or Paper Mario but GC. darkIink

I partially agree. There is no way having one console was enough to have a complete gaming experience. I dont agree that it was always PS2 like you are and so many others are. GC had the best exclusives there simply was not enough of them. And I like quality. Im not saying which one was the best though the GC suited me better than the others. PS2 and Xbox were also good but none of them were at the level of N64 or PS1 in that you could simply own one and have a full experience. Unfortunately having three companies (thanx alot MS) stretches third and second party support. This could be a factor. Competiton is goo but it can also be bad if there is too much. The addition of the Xbox made me spend way more money. All that aside it is still a good console.
