Wait, I thought Gears of War 2 had good graphics, wth is this?

someone, please expain to me how this is considered "the best graphics on the 360", looks pretty horrible to me, and btw its NOT a bullshot closeup, this is an actual part of the game, towards the beggining i believe its around the part where you enter the abandoned facility and in the basement where those creatures wake up from behind the glass chambers.

Gears of War 2 does look pretty good in general. But if you sit there and stare at a screenshot of most games you're bound to see some uglies.

What, you made a thread about this, a 2 year old game?

It doesn't look anything like that picture and it does look pretty damn good.

Are you judging Gears 2 by that screenshot alone?? Have you even played it before? Cause if you have you would know that it looks nothing like that. It really is a fantastic looking game.

That's the thing with graphics that are really only technically good for their time as opposed to being artistically good regardless of their time.

The game looked crap the day it was made imo but some people apparently think graphics technology is what makes something look nice.

Yah that pic does look like the low settings on PC.

The Xbox 360 version of Gears 1 is around the medium settings of the PC game.

The PC version did have extra missions and special maps too.

so you used the worst possible pic, and even then it dosen't look too bad. The environment textures are gorgeous :)

Is it just me, or does the beard and hair look like they have been photoshopped on? But yeah as I said before, loving the environment textures :)
