Still full price in my area, sadly. I would buy a Wii U for 100 bucks with a game, no doubt. That's my pricepoint for it. :)

I got one at full price around launch. I haven't purchases any games for it other than the one I picked up with it at launch. Don't buy it at any price... it's not worth $98.
what if you want to play pikmin 3, the wonderful 101, bayonetta 2, x, and super mario 3D world?
WOW, would definitely buy one at $98
Probably wont ever play it, but it would be cool to preserve it in its original package and then see how much it would go for 40 years from now.
Me too. I'm going to check my WalMarts on the way home today. I'll get that bundle for $150 or less. Let me check Amazon and see if they have any deals as well.
It's still priced $299 or higher on Walmart's website.

Microsoft with all their money should help Nintendo and Sony do this for all their remaining consoles.
People love cheap stuff.
But unlike PS4, WiiU actually has great games coming soon and great backward compability.
Exactly. I think the way how Wii U is getting down sized like that is ridiculous.
I already have one. Bought for $300 with Mario U/Luigi U. Was worth it. :)
Agreed. 300 + 2 games is a very good deal.
I think that 400 or 500 without any games is too expensive for a system, even if it is more powerful.
I think systems should always come with a game. That used to be a thing. :/
@LustForSoul: I guess. Depends if they have good games otherwise you just got a Wii U.
As a big fan of the first Bayonetta game, 98 dollars would ease my pain of B2 being WiiU only.

I remember that too. But console manufacturers want to make consoles as cheap as possible these days.
My 3DS even came without a charger, LOL

WAT. That's just silly, isn't that kinda necessary??

Absolutely.
With the launch of their 3DS XL Nintendo planned to launch the system without a charger in NA and Europe, because there was so much criticism they didn't go through with it in NA, but they did in Europe.
So yeah, I bought mine without a charger being included. It makes the system look cheaper than it actually is. Unless of course you want to play it once and then throw it away after you are done :P
Is Wii U compatible with Wii games? I wanna buy one.
It is.
Yes I will finally get to experience the Zelda games.
It was one of the selling points to me. Enjoy. You have to buy a wiimote though. Otherwise I believe it is ready from the get go. The older games weren't programmed for the new pad.
You can use the GamePad screen to display Wii games, however you will still need a Wii-mote for control, but still an awesome feature.

Damn I didn't even know about that. That's kinda deceptive. Most people would just assume they'd get a charger :0

That's exactly what I didn't like about this handheld gen. You think you would buy the system and a game and be able to play, but that was totally not the case.
For Vita you had to buy a memory card separate
For 3DS you had to buy a charger separate
They did put it somewhere on the box that you needed to buy those things separate, but yeah I would still call it deceptive.
