Denial of what? The beta testers loved this game...and it only seems to be getting a (as in one) negative review because of the price. Also... I know Sony fanboys do this aswell, but why do you like seeing a game fail? Stop making sarcastic questions, this game is garbage and everyone that tought it would get AAA is a cow. The only game that is worthy of a AAA title on PS3 is MGS4,FF,GT, all the othersare cow hype. I would love to see garbage like this to fail of course, cause I wouldnt want any game to follow its footsteps.

WTF?! K, I'm a fricken sheep and I feel bad for Sony...first Lair now Warhawk, these were supposed to be big exclusives. Oh well, I'll wait for Gamespot's and IGN's review of each game before I say anything more.7arek

I feel no remorse for Sony and their stumbles because they put the loaded gun to their head and pulled the trigger. Sony's troubles arent like Sega's of last gen where they created a great product but no gave them the support needed to remain competitive. Its simply a case of being too arrogant and assuming the market would bend toward their demands.

The remorse I do feel is for gaming as a whole. With Sony putting its foot in its mouth with these exclusive flops (except Resistance) it leaves the possibility for MS or Ninty to get lazy and churn out whatever they want for the sake of selling hardcore (360) or "innovative" (Wii) games....

I understand what you're striving to say about GS' somewhat "independent" rating practices and all, but I think this also illuminates how much we overemphasze the delta between, say, a 7 and 10 here on GS. By definition, a 7 on GS still represents a "good" game--games like Crackdown and Motorstorm. Yet, we have a game (Bioshock) that received a 9.7 and a 9.0 on IGN and Gamespot respectively, and we're ready to say that GS' ratings are sporadic in comparison with other sites.

We're talking a difference of SEVEN TENTHS...even if Gamespot had given Bioshock a 9.7, it would still carry the label of "Superb". Are the IGN and Gamespot ratings REAlLY that different?
