This is a hard one. I've been a fan of RE for a long time, and I love the individual entries in the series for a variety of differing reasons. Anyhoo. I'll give it a shot.

whoever has RE4 at its top 3 should burn in fire. Anyways not in order and i should mention that i played ALL the games i mention DAY 1 .. not after a year not after 5 or 10 years like some around that their first experience was RE4 or something.

1) Resident Evil ( The original hooked me up in the series in the first place , it has to be in top 5)

2) Resident Evil remake ( Because was the definite version of original where all begun )

3) Resident Evil 2 ( nuff said i think )

4) Resident Evil Code Veronica ( Because at the time there wasnt any better RE out ( PS1 had at the time RE3:Nemesis and PS2/GC werent even released. So imagine how good and epic Veronica felt compared to all other RE games at the time. One of my favorites hands down )

5) Well, love it or hate it, RE7. RE7 revived everything i loved and was huge fan of the series for almost a decade ( till RE4 made the series a crappy action/shooter ) with a new era of horror spin into it. I had a blast with RE7 and because of that im back on board with the series.

Unfortunately these are the only RE games I played that I've enjoyed. I've also played Raccoon City and RE6, but did not like them.

Didn't play 7 yet.

Aside from being a poo poo game the added cherry is that the pc version is borderline unplayable.

Buddies gonna let me borrow his PSVR whenever I'm ready to play RE7, so that's cool.

Not a fan of true survival horror, which is where resi really belongs. A contradiction maybe. I understand the need for it I just don't like running away or conserving ammo. I'm not patient enough.

Pretty tough one. My top 3 are basically interchangeable as they are all pretty much tied and I could probably switch them on any given day. Anyway they are as follows:

Memorable for me as well, but it went differently. I went into RE4 not expecting much of anything. Didn't get into any reviews, was really just expecting a by-the-numbers game. And after a year with games like MGS3, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden, and plenty of other very strong titles, I didn't think I'd be impressed.

Holy shit it took me by surprise lol.

I havent played much of 6 and 7. I have only tried a bit of some of the other spin offs. I know Survivor gets a lot of bad press but I had so much fun playing it on the PS1.

This man gets it. If I HAD to make an adjustment it would be to slide Code Veronica in alongside 3. But yeah, this pretty much.
