Was anybody else here let down with MGS4?

Not for a second.

Edit: My favourite MGS is still 3. But it came close to topping it. :)

anyways....i wouldn't know about it letting me down, and if MGS4 did get the western treatment

that was a good thing...no naked raiden walking around or things that look way too wierd to be real

even though from what i've seen its still has its wierd moments

Ive read through almost every message on here and the results and interesting. seems fairly even with blownaway/best game this generation or let down with the former probably edging it. im not sure if theres been a game that blew me awayat the time (in bold to emphasize this if someone tries to be funny) but it would probably be:

Final Fantasy 7
Shenmue
even Final Fantasy Tactics which had an unbelieveably well written story proves that a game doesnt have to have good graphics or be technically outstanding to be great

I had more fun with uncharted. I had to force myself to beat it the 2nd time, the 1st and 2nd levels of mgs4 are really good after that the game goes down hill. I found it very overrated, I also found Gta4 really boring as well so it could just be me.lolkie_81

I also had a better experience with uncharted. this is only because the game doesnt slow down as dramatically as MGS4.

i wanna make something clear. im defininetely not bashing MGS4, it is a good game, but its certainly not perfect and i was really impressed in the technical aspect of the game, but i just was not blown away. maybe i expected too much
