This is basically a format war.Sony has armed every one with the weapons(blu ray drives) and now all they are left to do in the near future is supply everyone the bullets(blu rays).

Exactly depends on the target.If my Western Digital 500GB hard disk can fill up in 2 months of purchase,than i dont see a problem with targets.
I believe it is not that important this year but after 2 years or so it's gonna be very important, as an example Rage. In the coming future games might need around 15GB as standard and if that happened blu-ray will prove very useful.abuabed15GB of data and only 512MB of RAM? Sounds like the RAM needs to catch up first. Then the larger capacity will make more sense since you'll be able to put more of it on screen at once.
