Was Lost and Damned released because the 360 version has less content?

I was talking to some PS3 fanboys in my common room on Friday and one of them told me that Lost and Damned was released exclusivley on 360 because the PS3 already had it and the 360 version had fewer missions than the PS3 version.

Is that true?

no, ur friends are just lieing. microsoft paid a couple mil. to get rockstar to make it exclusive to the 360. there is one where u get a bike but that is also on the 360 and ps3 version.

Microsoft paid Take-Two a staggering $50 million to secure the two exclusive downloadable expansion packs for the 360 version of GTA4, giving them a marketable advantage over the PlayStation 3 version.

MS advanced RockStar 50 million when Rockstar was bleeding cash and on the verge of being took over. Advancing the money gave MS the exclusive DLC. That doesn't mean we'll never see DLC for the PS3 though.

same game, new storyline isn't it. I'd rather buy a 'new' game.

Sony doesn't pay for DLC, they put that money towards completely new games

Does anyone think this (+the future DLC) will ever be released on disc? (for 360 of course.)
