Obviously it's gonna be 11/10.

my guess would be around 8, could be a 7. There are alot of good in the game, and from prior Alphas/Betas (whatever you want to call them). It shows a good deal of potential, it is rather fun, but it is also seemed rather unpolished. Simple at times.

So I would say that an 8 would be the area it would hit most likely. Or if the prerelease bugs and more polish havent been Applied, then a 7.

Still one heck of a game ^^ counting the time ;)

Played the beta to a point where I didn't want to spoil the game anymore. Looking forward to starting the full game tomorrow.

From my experiences I'd give it a 9, Gamespot is a little more difficult to predict. If someone like Kevin does the review an 8 or 9 is likely if they give it to some random Freelance bloke (DR3 for example) it could get anything from 1 to 10.

No armor either.

Hopefully Kevin does review it. Him or Danny. If it's anyone else, then I could care less.

Alright I know you mean well, but...

I'm a PC gamer and an old-school RPG fan, and I've lost all interest in this game. The latest vids showing the skill trees and the interface clutter... It should be called Wastland 2: The Spreadsheetening. I mean I thought D:OS was bad with it's obtuse crafting, horrible interface and skill systems and complete lack of any kind of useful documentation, but Wasteland 2 looks even worse if that is possible.

I'll be holding onto my money for Eternity. My interest in Wasteland 2 is not precisely zero.

No romances+more than 4 stats (will make my head spin)+turn based combat+more than 2 non violence based stats=no buy

On a serious note, I expect it to get a 7 from Gamespot, and I will rate it roughly around 8. I will buy it when the price goes down a bit, I kinda crave for an RPG again where firearms rather than swords are the weapon of choice.

A large amount of skills is extremely common for Old School RPGs. Baldur's Gate and NWN were pretty darn dumbed down compared to the actual Old School RPGs you seem to have a strong dislike for.

Edit: also what exactly do you mean by cluttering, nothing I have seen in the game looks that cluttered to me. Likewise, I dont see what you mean by the lack of any kind of useful documentation in D:OS.

Very disappointed in W2's graphics. They went with a zoomable 3d'ish camera that makes it look like Neverwinter Nights wasteland edition. It's a very ugly game compared to the likes of DOS and Project Eternity.

Only "Silent Running" was cut. Stealth is still possible with good perception and avoiding enemies' cone of sight.

GS scores are unpredictable. so I will say 6-8 range. If it does get a 9 it won't surprise me. Also the first review may come from eurogamer.

Agree. It's not just from a technical perspective, the art direction itself is shit.

The models look like something from 2003.

Divinity by comparison has rather beautifully designed character models.

The excause of "oh oh oh oh ho ho ho oh oh, eh, it's suppose to look gritty and it's suppose to look like this". No, it just looks shit. Even the UI text looks like it was done in mspaint. Wii users would be embarrassed by the presentation.

Overall this game will flop hard. 6/7 tops. Bethesda have nothing to worry about.

AA - 8.5. Great cRPG, but with a few flaws and outdated graphics.

I believe only Pillars of Eternity can top Divinity: Original Sin this year.

I hope it does well, I would love to enjoy an old fallout style game again. I picked 8 just to keep some realistic hope. The game does look exceedingly rough around the edges though so I don't expect much higher and won't be particularly shocked if it hits 6 or 7.

POE has great graphics. Timeless artistic backdrops and intricately detailed sprites. Wasteland 2 is just mud in comparison.

It looks good, don't get me wrong. But, nothing about it really gets my attention the way the recent footage of Torment did. Might just be the art that bothers me, but honestly some of the footage of the quests don't look all that hot. Will probably finish Divinity and Dark Souls 2 before I consider buying another RPG.

You spoke as if Final Fantasy plays just like Wasteland and I proved it doesn't.

I would think the FF game that plays closest to it would be Tactics, no ? Don't you just stand there and swap blows with no aspect of positioning in the other Final Faggotry games ?

Middle/end game content probably a lot stronger than what some of us experienced in the beta- hopefully.

That is the MMO. Final Fantasy is a pretty robust series of different styles of RPG... I guess tactics would be closer. but then, I can see why people would prefer FFXIV:ARR to Wasteland... a terrible dated looking game pandering to nostalgia. It's not quite close to Divinity's quality.

But... showing an alpha concept screenshot is lolzworth... let me who you why:

Banking on AA, it's a little too muddy graphically and it looks pretty clunky in some other aspects. Overall though it looks really solid, much more complex and interesting than most games coming out this year.

Well it's not going to win any award for graphics, UI or animation, but the gameplay may carry it if it's well balanced and fun.

But it does look like a game that could have been made in 2002 and that is not a good thing.
