Assassins creed is not coming this year thus watch dogs is alternative. they will be ubisoft's infinity ward and treyarch. one year for AC, other for WD. far cry can also join them. they will continue to make sequels despite first watch dogs was ubisoft biggest faliure. this company never learn.

Neither will gamers. They complain about annuals constantly, then buy the next game like clockwork.

Thought the first one was ok, so I don't mind a sequel. Hope they reduce the filler fluff and improve the campaign this time.

Of course it's real - you're going to get another 20 of them and a movie with preorders.

Just look at the sales figures. Almost everyone is buying that crap. I used to be guilty of doing it too, but Unity was my last AC purchase, and only because it came with the system.

Seriously though this is a franchise UBIsoft could walked away from and deved something new and fresh. I don't know many people, actually no one clamoring for another watch dogs.

I didn't last more than a couple of hours with it either, fortunately I got it free with a graphics cards.

Then you're not looking at the right person. I for one ask for another Watch Dog game and besides, I think it was pretty obvious that everyone knew Ubisoft found there new franchise game.

I was so hyped for the first one. It's a great idea that Ubisoft didn't know what to do with.

It was fun for a while then just got super repetitive, the story didn't even make sense either.

They overspammed Ass Creed. Now they're in need of a 2nd franchise to spam every 2 years. Reminds me of Activsion and CoD/Destiny spam.

@davillain-: watchdogs was interesting for a week, namely because of the online integration of invading another world. That is factually a cool element to the games design. The rest... And I mean the rest of the game was vapid of all forms of ingenuity in gameplay and story telling. The characters were Hella drab and Chicago was run of the mill... The worst of it was the clear and obvious attempt that UBIsoft made to shoe horn in what was in essence their standard defacto "UBIsoft game" into a grand theft auto type locale. For me it's hard to get behind this series... I'd rather see UBIsoft jump on something away from the grain... Theyre clearly a developer who can make great games, why they poach their own games instead of think tank something new and fresh is beyond me... Its the adverse direction I want developers to travel.

@Bigboi500: gamers are most to blame I feel. We could end all yearly sequels if we wanted in one years time... But as long as we keep shoveling our hard earned money into yearly updates instead of demanding new ideas, places and stories than they are simply being capitalists. Making money.

Bought the complete edition for 20 bucks and loved it.

Despite Aiden Peirce being the most generic "fake-batman" protagonist in human history, I actually liked the first Watchdogs way more than the hate it got. It wasnt perfect by any means, but It had unique gameplay, and I got my enjoyment out of it. I even enjoyed the whole infiltrate your game thing. Maybe they pull an Assassins Creed 2.

Watch dogs was kind of a turd, and then they followed it up with an even shittier teaser. Wow.

Super excited for this sequel to a game I have no interest in to begin with.

I wonder if they'll make it chicago again albeit a more gritty Chicago guest starring Chief Keef and all the shitty drill music you can take. since y'know we went from a generic white guy to I'm guessing a generic black dude now.

Watch_dogs had some very interesting ideas, let's see what they can improve in the sequel.

Watch Dogs was just an ok game. I agree with you that a sequel is not all that exciting to me considering I was hyped for the first one and it turned out to be average at best.

I liked the game. Hopefully they made it better
