Speaking of Watch Dogs.

I remember last year right after E3 I said in a thread that a lot of games NEVER look as good as their E3 presentations. I think the was the response- "B..b..but Killzone looks good as it's presentations and you're just a troll!". I think it was in a Watch Dogs graphics thread and you idiots were declaring it the best graphics of E3. While Star Wars 1313 and a couple other games looked leagues better and more promising.

I swear, you people are so stupid. Well, that goes for anybody who actually bought the game, especially if you pre-ordered it and expecting it to be some kind of GOTY.

I haven't seen anything that looked as good as the E3 presentation. You should know by now that it's all about first impressions and a lot of you keep falling for it.

Not even a complete list of the stuff that's missing...

* No car deformations

* Glitchy character animations (run against a wall with a car park very close to it for some hilarious stretching legs)

* Some of the security camera are not placed properly and when you rotate them you can see the object it's attached to clip through the camera

* Your character clips through the car if you crash at speed into water.

* if a NPC is blown on top of a car by an explosion and dies the corpse spins round

* if you flip a NPC car upside down the NPC instantly appears beside the car rather than getting out

* The flipped cars back wheel spin around and stop randomly after

* There are no waves or choppy water that I've seen

* Steam hurts you character but does not hurt him if you drive into in in a car

* People refer to your bike as a car (GTAV did something similar though)

* Some of the balcony/fire exit areas on the side of building you can fall onto from above, then you are stuck there because you can't jump or climb out

Then you can add all the stuff mentioned in that video on top of this.

This is what you get from a game with 6+ more months of polish LOL, what was it like before?

This is all so inconsequential though. I haven't noticed any of these things in like 15 hours of playing. They might be happening but I just haven't noticed them. Go over any game with a magnifying glass and you'll find loads of glitches, as an example look at that speed run of Dark Souls 2. Its full of glitches that most people will probably never even notice or experience.

Assassins Creed 4 had way more bugs than WD but everyone loved that game. Pretty sick of the bandwagon hate this game is getting, most of it is the flimsiest nonsense.

Bingo, I don't know if it's the start of the generation but a lot of gamers are more sensitive than ever.

Give it up enjoy what you have or don't play it at all.

Noithing is stopping people from waiting a week and vetting out all the research that needs to be done to buy a game,

Most likely he was excited for the game and decided to wait on reviews etc before purchasing. Now he's pissed because he's not going to have any fun and he's also pissed of it's success because he knows this means more half-assed bullshit games in the future.

Bingo!

It's a good game and would have been amazing if it were a PC exclusive. Imagine the potential from the E3 2012 trailer.

More like it sold solely on hype and only a few people are enjoying it.

My issue with the game I mentioned earlier I encounter in the first 2 hours of the game... just trying to complete some of the side missions.

The glitch wit the fire exit trap was trying to reach a camera and I run too far and fell of the side. This is such lazy game testing. If i can find these bugs in the first 2 hours of game play (don't even get me started on the stutter in the PC version) then how crap are their game testers who's only job is to try and exploit the game?

The clipping through the car when exiting is not limited to just water either, sometimes when you crash the car and it's in an unusable state you get thrown through the car, one time i got left clipping through the car. Why on earth did they leave it like that, why not just have it like GTA where he does not get out until you tell him to. You don't even get these sorts of glitches in GTA3 on PS2 so is not nothing about being cross platform.

Here are some more...

* You invulnerable to everything but bullets while inside a car.

* One place in the city near the train tracks on one of the building you can only get to only by stairs there are two cars on a rooftop with no way of getting them out, why are they there and how did someone park them on a roof of a building with no street access?

* Also there is what looks like a food vendor or something in the street interacting with an object that does not exist near one of the enterable buildings, forgot which one.

* If you bump into a person who is interacting with another person (two people listening to a guitar player in this case leaning on each other) the person you bumped into walks off and the other person is left leaning on nothing.

I will have to find some more...

It's a great game, sure it isn't perfect but it does a lot of things well and it's fun.

The 2nd video is the PS3 version, of course you expect shit like that on a last gen system. The PS4/XB1 and PC version have plenty of traffic. Seems the guy in the first video is going out of his way to find flaws. A lot of those "flaws" aren't flaws just design decisions.

design decisions... wtf are you smoking? seriously.... unless you class "no attention to detail" or "we run out of developement time ,,, twice" as a "choice" not a fail. go ahead.

Have you played the game or are you one of those idiots that judges a game based on Youtube videos? If you've played the game then you'll understand why certain things like trying to jump on that train in the first video didn't work. It's clearly a design decision, platforming wasn't a focus on this game like GTA V hence the lack of a jump button.

As for the second video, it's an unfortunate and probably rare glitch, other videos of the PS3 version I've seen on Youtube have cars in them.

just goes to show you cannot trust videos all the time, i am playing the 360 version and although the City is well populated, there are plenty of Cars on the road and plenty of pedestrians, there has to be , hacking Pedestrians is how you get your money, i made 400,000 in under 5 minutes hacking pedestrians and i have only had one glitch in the game so far, framerate has been consistent , Gunplay is solid, AI is actually very good (NPC's react to what you do) the games no oil painting but it looks pretty good.

All in all i am having a blast with watchdogs on the 360, i prefer it to GTA, it's just too much fun watching the way people react when you Hack a gate next to them.

Anyway, u get that peole don't like the Game, Cool if it's not your cup of tea but in my opinion it's an extremely good game.

Agreed, the problem with open world games is it would take years to test them to complete destruction with the amount of variables that are involved, certain glitches in Skyrim Happened because Players did certain quests in a specific order or started a quest that glitched another quest if attempted whilst said first quest was open, There are just too many different ways players will approach these games for Testing to Eliminate every bug before release.

Not Necessarily..... Studios like Bethesda can afford to test everysingle bug out of the system.... They just have this "Acceptable Bugs" Attitude towards developement.

I think a Game like Project Spark is going to be unfinitely (literally) much more difficult to design than Elder's Scroll yet I'm confindent the beta testing and alpha testing and a crap load of testing will make it less buggier than Skyrim. But we'l see when it comes out......

Betas are good.

I think it is a pretty amazing game, especially on the technical side. As far as I'm concerned this is more than enough to be considered a truly next gen title. On PC it looks amazing, and it runs pretty well too, I was getting 30 fps (in this game I decided to sacrifice the golden 60 fps for a little more eye candy) with a fuckin 560 ti with everything but the shadows, water, and textures maxed out. It is inconsistent like this since the textures can be pretty bad on medium, and the water looked quite blurry too, but it's not that bad. It looks way better than anything else that would require the same hardware.

Ubisoft is uber soft. They need to come harder.
