My heart dropped when it revealed the multi aspect. Until then, it was amazing, for me at least. The reaction from the crowd and the buzz it is getting alone show that people want new IP's and new ideas over sequels.

May I ask why? It appears to be doing multiplayer in an extremely original way, interweaving separate players stories and missions with one another. That's kind of ingenious.
My god, this completely blew me away, Ubisoft's conference is the best by far (so far). Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed III got me really hyped, great showing Ubisoft!
Very positively surprised by there not only being an actual surprise, but it looking pretty damned cool. I will also be surprised if this looks as good as that on current consoles.
I think it's next gen title under radar since those facial animations are non existent in consoles of today, infact those facial animations u'll see in crysis 2 or 1 with direct x enabled.

I disagree. The facial animations are incredible, but nowhere near "non existent" on consoles today. I do think it may be a next gen title as other aspects of the demo were just too damn good, The car crash physics where kind of insane to the point where I wonder how scripted it was. Tha can't be the only way to get ahold of DeMarco, or could it? So many questions! If I could just play that demo :cry:
I saw him holding a 360 controller though, so it must've either been a PC connected to 360 controller, the Wii U Pro controller (not sure), or a 360 (highly unlikely considering the graphics and effects).
So far, especially if you limit to surprise announcements, yeah, don't think it is even a contest. Even the known games were arguably outshone. Just because I'm hyped, it will turn out to be garbage, but hey.

I just don't like multiplayer and this whole "always connected" thing. But if they can kind of make it seamless like how Demon's souls did or some other nice way it I'll change my mind. Right now it just seems too MMO-ey to me.
sad, modded GTA4 looks much better... sigh Epic was right, next gen will only be a small step

No. It wasn't, and I wish you kids would stop saying that. It was clearly played using a 360 controller, whether that means 360 or PC, who knows... but it was not WiiU.

That asian dudes facial features in nightclub were unbeleivable, just like the facial features in assasins creed 3 when camera panned in on ezio lookalike whoo seemed to be cherikee indian of some origin, suprised they didn't show any lara but all good. i still wonder as ubisofts natorious for working on nextgens.

Bets game of E3 so far. Not sure what platforms this will be released for but it looked like the guy was using a Logitech controller for PC, the graphics were definitely way better than current consoles.
