we may have to start taking mobile gaming more seriously.. valve adding steam?

we all know of steam the infamous demigod store for buying pc games and the way in which portal 2 onwers on ps3 can co-op with pc users..

it appears valve want to add a full fledged variant the mobile users... while nothing is set in stone their strongly considering it..

Well to contribute my bolder words..

Mobile Devices can maybe our personal computer, a couple dozens stronger than the Pc's of Today..

The Nano Technology make this possible, only the investiment takes years 5 or 6.

But its coming!.

it is a decent servis yes but the hype it gets is insane. omfg i can get a 4 year old game for 10$ and all that jazz.

I already take mobile gaming seriously... unless you mean with phones and stuff. In that case, I don't.

A Steam mobile would be pretty good, but would be limited to games that can run on ARM + OpenGL ES based systems. I don't think Valve wants to mix up hardware as the current x86 based systems do them well already.

This. They already have their own game platform things handling sales and achievements and everything so there's not much room for competiton. Apple in particular would be opposed to the idea of an app that interacts with other apps, sells apps through itself or places its own interface on top of iOS; in the past they have pulled apps that did this sort of thing.

While I think from a consumer standpoint that would be nicer, you have to admit the mobile crowd is much larger and much more willing to part with their money.
