You really don't like to acknowledge any positives with Nintendo, do you? Even Mirko can acknowledge them.
I don't get excited over crap and Nintendo has served that for many many years.

When was the last time that shit happened? Anyone using less than half the equation is ignoring history for wishful thinking.
June 2010 for their conferences, June 2014 for their Digital Events.
I disagree with your assertion of this knocking it out of the park.
I disagree with a cherrypicked portion of a 60+ minute long conference, too. 2010 was when Nintendo announced Goldeneye, Golden Sun, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid Other M, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kid Icarus Uprising, and they had the entire 3DS reveal, which was remarkably well received.
You can disagree all you want, however.
@charizard1605:
i don't know why you continue to converse with pedro. he'll just dismiss any point you make as "foolishness" or some other stupid shit.

Mostly for the sake of some poor sod who may stumble upon his posts and think he actually has a point- I think it's important to deconstruct his posts and expose them for what they really are.

LOL. Talk about violently grasping for straws. I didn't not make the claim that this conference knock it out of the park. You did and now I am cherry picking because I linked a 18 minutes video. This is awesome.
Finally a stage. That's a start.
That makes sense. Get a stage for a convention that laughed them out. Then again, it's the same company that allowed Smash at EVO.
Get a stage and stop showing stupid shit on it? I assure you no one's gonna laugh them out.
At least if they show something stupid only on stream, the embarrassment is less colossal. Besides, name ONE thing from modern Nintendo you DON'T find stupid because you bash them even when they're praised. In that regard, what does that matter to you?
Perhaps if they cease being so damn culturally clueless, as I think that's where a lot of the embarrassment and cringe-worthiness stems from. If they allowed NoA to handle western marketing at a western event instead of standing their being so formal and dull when sticking their head out of their hole in Japan, they'd succeed better. But Nintendo has no interest in running a global company. They have interest in running an exclusively Japanese one, with their other branches being nothing but translation houses.
@MirkoS77: For starters, maybe realize that other countries have fair use agreement when it comes to Youtube videos. There is a certain arrogance in asserting Nintendo's cultural standards and laws on people who have completely different laws.
I'm not expecting an epic conference.
The biggest new, unannounced IP could be the first ever console pokemon title, and if it's a genuine AAA full budget game that would be a massive deal in terms of the market. I'm skeptical however.
For the most part though, it will be a fun conference with a lot of gameplay footage of upcoming titles like Odyssey and Splatoon 2. There will probably be a couple announced wiiu ports like Smash and Mario Maker.
The big hope if you root for Nintendo (which I do, at my peril at times), is that there will be at least a couple major third party announcements. To me, if Nintendo is going to e3 this year, a big reason for that change could be because of 3rd parties
That's nice of nintendo to let us know that Sony will have a good e3 this year, too bad nintendo won't.

What are you talking about? Where did I mention YT or fair use? What arrogance? I've no idea what you're referring to about what I said.
More Mario and the gang, party games and no new ip's. That's Nintendo's E3.
Well, yeah... Nintendo without Mario is like Marvel without Spider-Man.
Well, expectations are up.
Nintendo said they would have more software support due to development resources not being split between a handheld and a console. If they don't come w/ 1 or 2 new IP, along w/ another 2 or 3 current big franchise titles to show at E3 then I would call that show a fail.
Mario Oddysey gameplay, a 3D Metroid, a new big IP or 2, Pokemon for Switch. I'm expecting big things no doubt.
So I concede ? As I sit here at work playing around with the Switch I have to say it's a great little device and does what it does well. Yes I basically paid $360 to play Metal Slug but I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and E3 to see what else is in store for the Switch.
As for Zelda it's decent. I have zero interest in exploring the world and finding loot and what not. The Story although it feels kinda hokie isn't too bad, they coulda done more with Character design and not used the same character/cut screens for the trial/spirit orb thing but, the game plays well and I want to finish it. Don't know if it's quite worth a purchase or not, I'm borrowing a copy from a buddy for the weekend so we will see how it goes. I'm really only at the point where I gotta find some old man where the 4 temples intersect so I assume a I have a ways to go. Over all I'm happy with the purchase and I want to see what more will be in store for the Nintendo Switch.
The only thing that worries me is that Ms or Sony will copy it and do it better which will make my Switch kinda irrelevant
That makes sense. Get a stage for a convention that laughed them out.
No one forced them to use a "DJ Ravidrums" mime performance to promote a shit music game though.
As a random aside, DJ Ravidrums went on to perform at President Trump's inauguration. The world is so freaking weird haha.
Nintendo promises are less than worthless. As in, Nintendo promising something makes it LESS likely than if they had said nothing.
The Switch surely needs more than Zelda, indies, ports and minigames however so hopefully they'll have some quality new games to show.
Is Metroid dead forever? F Zero? Will they get the broken Star Fox treatment? Are Retro just another 2D platformer dev now? Will they make another AAA new IP like Xenoblade? I still believe Nintendo can choose a path of pure quality and make their system a modern N64 (low quantity, insanely high quality) But they have to avoid the WiiU path of endless ports, rehashes, safe sequels and outright bad games to do so.

Somebody call John Oliver.
Not getting my hopes up for anything specific, I'm just wanting a good E3 from all the major attenders.
I guess if I was to say some wants from Nintendo, just more footage for Mario Odyssey, info on BotW's story DLC, and the announcement of a Smash Bros Deluxe.
I refuse to even think about it past that. I know if I start letting my mind wonder about the "what if's", I start expecting them and then be disappointed when they don't happen.

I agree, as a console maker I don't trust them. The indies didn't save the Wii U even though it had program that made indie games really easy to port to the Wii U.
