This must be a joke thread. It has to be. Because no one in their right mind would seriously claim that Madworld and dumb a Sonic game is enough to beat RE5, Halo Wars, Tom Clancy's HAWK, and Guitar Hero: Metallica. That would be... insanity. Add on a couple other Non Triple A titles like Wanted: Weapons of Fate and Wheelman, and you've got a line up that just about bashes anything the Wii has to offer in March.

Matt Hazard was released in March, basically. And Legends of Wrestlemania, but that'll be tragically miserable I'm sure. Stormrise from Creative Assembly. MLB 09, I know nothing about baseball but it looks pretty sweet anyway.

You're being such a hypocrit. It's not more evident than in the paragraph about Dead Rising I formatted for you. A dumbed down port that removes nearly all of the aspects that made the game unique in the first place and looks to have devolved into a simplistic shooter, does not jive with your preaching about it being about something "fresh, great gameplay, original style etc." Not to mention all the remakes you included. Overpriced they are too. Will they really be £30? That's mad. Pikmin is an 8 year old game, like, what the hell?

As for Sonic,I think it could be good.At least,I haven't gotten into the habit of seeing Sonic in the title and declaring it crap.Have we forgotten the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed got a 7.0???

ps3/360 get RE5 in march wii gets a well previewed RPG in rune factory frontier, madworld, sonic and the black knight (the only sonic series to get good reviews and praise lately), swords and soldiers and that weird wiiware platformer announced a while back (the toaster guy? i can't remember its main character is a living inanimate object i believe, like a mushroom? i think....)

so while the rehashing of RE4 will make a good TPS, i'll go for new ideas from the people who made okami and DMC, and then a good RPG, and heck a good sonic platformer? sounds good to me

(btw sonic and the black knight is the sequel to sonic and the secret rings, another sonic wii platformer that got good reviews and was really fun)

Hey that's great. Ever thought that you can still find Gamecube games in stores? I'm sure people can find a copy of Pikmin somewhere and it'll be so much cheaper than the direct port that Nintendo is releasing. Once again, porting Gamecube games to the Wii, a console that can already play Gamecube games, is the dumbest idea that Nintendo has ever come up with. Even dumber than their desicion to leave us hardcore gamers in the dark so they could focus on the casual gamer.

What if i dont have a GC copy and all that i can find today (if i'm lucky) are used copies that are in really bad shape.

Personally, i'm only interested in MadWorld, but Frontier looks good too, i'm only hope that MadWorld isn't as repetitive as NMH.

No, no, no. Just because Gamespot awards a game a 9.0 or better does not make it a Triple A game no matter how much the Staff at Gamespot thinks it does. Their single review of a game is just one measly opinion of the game.

A Triple A game should only be awarded that title based along the lines of what makes a movie a blockbuster. It's all about sales. For movies, a blockbuster is any movie that scores 100 million dollars domestically. As for games, I think it's 1 million copies sold.

Odds are, Halo Wars, Guitar Hero, and Resident Evil 5 are going to sell well over 1 million copies each.

Besides, I still can't believe you people trust Gamespot's reviews following the Kane & Lynch incident. I personally never follow one review.. So I check reviews on metacritic or Gamerankings. If you want to call a name a Triple A game based on score, use those sites. Mean Score > One Gamespot Review

I disagree with something here. Pretty often shovelware sells very well and other not so good games. I will not give examples to avoid a fanboy rampage though.
