Sega kid through and through, similar to how I am a Playstation gamer now. I like to stick to one system, Sega then and Sony now. Course it's all because of the inhouse titles. I have all Sega Systems; Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive, Saturn and the Dreamcast. Though I am a stronger supporter of the Playstation brand at heart I am still a Sega fan. As far as Im concerned Sega was the best thing about gaming in the 90's, you just can't beat great titles like, Sonic, Shenmue, Virtua Fighter, Streets of rage, Golder axe, Skies of arcadia, Phantasy Star and my all time favourite Revenge of Shinobi.

I still have a lot of respect for Nintendo though I was never really a fan of their franchises, but still enjoyed them every now and then.

When I wasn't gaming on my father's apparently-custom-built PC, I was gaming on an NES and/or SNES at home (along with a Magnavox Odyssey2 at some point). It was only natural that I would grow up to be a Nintendo fan. However, I never hated consoles from Sega or anyone else. I got my fair share of Genesis play time, and just wanted to play good games, no matter the platform. Even more oddly, I never ran into anyone who picked sides, either, especially seeing as many of them owned consoles from both Nintendo and Sega (eventually Sony as well with the next generation).

Sega, I even had a Game Gear, that thing was heavy and probably had enough batteries to make a bomb of some sort ....

Nintendo kid. My grandmother had NES, SNES, N64, and GB so that was the most readily available systems for me. I've never really been a big fan of what I did play of Sega systems though so even if I had Nintendo and Sega systems available, I probably still would have spent most of my time with Nintendo.

I liked BOTH. Why the limit yourself to one system? that would be dumb.

Well I'm 16 and didn't start console gaming till when i was about 8. I actually starting gaming when my grandma found a gameboy in the backyard when I was 4 and just handheld gamed till about 2002 or 2003 when I finally got a console system, which was a gamecube. So ya I was a nintendy kid :P
