I was a cow til late 2004 after spending $180nzd for a new laser on my ps2 the good ps2 game just stoped coming along with getting a pc for other thinks I just found out how much better pc gaming is.
I used to be a sheep. Now im a really a Lemming based on the fact that i consider my 360 my primary console and i consider my wii my secondary console. But i still have some love for the nintendo classic franchises. Im sorry but i need my mario, zelda, metroid, smash bros, donkey kong, etc. people say the wii is for casuals, well thats wrong because none of the main nintendo franchises are casual games, they are for the hardcore. as for the "kiddy"comment, thats crap, cause i dont think ur a gamer if ur complaint about a game is "its kiddy". I understand if its boring to u, but it better not be because its kiddy.
Timeline of what ive been: started seriously gaming in '91 so from 91-96 I was a Hedgehog (I had both a SNES and Genesis but I loved Sonic the Hedgehog as a kid so I always played that) then from '97-98 I was a Sheep (liked the N64 but it was shortlived because the *still to me* overall lame library made me convert to PS1) from '98-'02, pretty much a pure cow since PS1 and PS2 had the majority of the games I liked, and I didnt trust the GC after being so heavily disappointed by N64 (I loved SNES-and started playing it towards the end of my Hedgehog days) so I passed on it for a bit til I played SSBM at a friends. then from '02-05' I was a Show (I liked both GC and PS2 alot but then got an Xbox) and since '05 ive gone full on gamer.
I would say im still more biased towards sony since ive had MANY good memories with them and due to the fact ive had many 360 issues to the point I returned it for a PS3 (which surprisingly ive liked alot better) I guess im gonna have to say Cow since ever since I beat Zelda-my Wii has gonna mostly ignored. In terms of use-im a cow-in terms of preference-I like em all. Plan to pick up Super Paper Mario soon so I guess ill be a Show again since im minus an Xbox until the revised 360 CPU is out (I dont feel like going through that trouble again)
sheep for nes and snes days due to lack of sega in my house. Then sheep/cow with 64/ps1 and GCN/PS2. Right now I have nes snes dreamcast ps3 pc and soon to get a wii so I guess I just haven't supported MS but I'm pretty sure that will change sooner or later.
I've always been a hardcore hermit, but I still love Nintendo. I have had an N64, a GC, and a PS2, and I plan on getting a Wii and a 360, but my consoles have always played second fiddle to my PC.
used to play nintendo (N64 had alot of gameboys) then got gamecube then my bro bought PS2 ( i never played) then i got xbox (what made me a lemming) then got DS then PSP then 360 sold the DS for the PSP broke the PSP (accident) dont believe its worth it to get it repaired not enough games i like
I started as a gamer with NES then moved to SNES and Gameboy. Later on I got PS1 and moved on the PC gaming during year 2000 because that's when all the great games started to flow into the PC. After that I got myself a PS2 and was sure about getting a PS3, before E3 2006. That's when I saw how boring PS3 actually looked and the price tag made me despise it more. So I saw the light and went back to Nintendo getting myself a Wii from being a Cow and a Hermit. I must say, I love my Wii and I made the right decision.
I was a hermit when I was very young because I was brainwashed by PC gaming magazines into thinking that PS2 had graphics around the level of the original Doom. Then I played a PS2 and became a cow. Now I'm an anti-cow who loves Nintendo and Xbox. I don't think I've changed, though, it's just that the consoles have changed. I still love my PS2, and I still look back and the Xbox and don't want any games on it (except for a few). It's just that, well, the PS3 sucks. Although mostly I quit being a cow because Sony is teh evil and puts spyware on peoples computers.
Well I don't really follow any company. My next console will probably be a Xbox 360, own a PS2 etc. However I will always root for Nintendo over the others just because they're the only company that puts their heart into the buisness and have focused on giving the gamers quality games more than anyone else. Besides Shiggy is a living god and what he did for all us gamers should not be ignored.
I get whatever console which has the best games and appeals the most to me. Dislike the PS3 and Sony atm for the lack of game and the past filled with arrogant comments but still enjoy God Of War 2 on my PS2. Loving the 360 because of all the great games available, announced and Xbox Live - Arcade, but dislikes Microsoft. Love Nintendo but dislike the Wii because the lack of my type of games and power.
Sega used to be my favourite. Then I got a Playstation. Then a Dreamcast (at that point, I was really a hardcore Sega fan). When the Dreamcast was finished, I had to find a new console. The obvious choice was to get a PS2, considering I had a PS1. My brother got a PS2 so I had to get another console. I chose the Gamecube and I thought that it was a good console but the games dried up near the end. I am now just a gamer, with a 360 and a Wii
So far the consoles I own are sega megadrive (or genesis if you're american), Nintendo 64 and just got a playstation 2. I also have a GBC for handheld stuff. This generation, I am more in support of Nintendo's direction.
Well I consider myself a gamer, but right now I'd probably be a cow. Way back in my gaming history up to about maybe 2000 I played games mostly on pc and even atari2600 because I could never afford a console myself and my parents wouldn't buy me an up to date one either, but I always played games with my best friend during the PS1/n64 era on both platforms. So I guess I was a casual hermitt (though I loved my Quake, Quake2, Unreal Tournament, and basically any console game I could get on PC) from 98-2001. Since then I have been a cow with ps2 now ps3 and psp, even though I bought myself a 64 to enjoy nostalgia of playing goldeneye, mario64, and mario kart again. My brother just bought a wii and I am going to buy him some gc games for it so I guess that makes me part sheep. Yet the wii will be secondary to both of us because our favorite games have been on cowstation. I played a lot of Halo and Halo2 lan parties for a bit that I almost bought an xbox, but I settled on the pc version of Halo, which runs like @$$ and is nowhere near as fun as UT. As a cow I'm also jealous of hermitts often because my laptop can't run top-end games but I'll enjoy my Unreal Tournament Anthology. I get so happy when games that are great on pc come to my cowstation so I can enjoy things like Half-Life2:Orange Box, and F.E.A.R. I think that in system wars ,even if people won't admitt to it, we are gamers not fanboys, but the expensiveness of our hobby makes us have to pick a side and stick with it.Â
I was WEIRD. I started with the Atari 2600, then moved up to the commodore 64, then advanced to the nintendo, after that was the sega genesis and the turbografix 16, then I got a super nintendo and after awhile decided to upgrade my genesis to sega cd (night trap anyone :shock: ), got tired of sega cd then purchased an atari jaguar (worse system ever next to the PS3), then purchased a PS1 (loved nba in the zone), needed a handheld so I picked up a game gear and a gameboy, got tired of the funky green drab lcd so I stayed with the game gear, moved on to pick up the awesome sega dreamcast (marvel v capcom 2 for anybody that thinks they are tough enough) and a PS2, finally picked up an Xbox then purchased a 360 and a DS. Oh yea, and I have always had a desktop for all my computing needs. :shock:
