When I was a little girl, I would often visit my cousin and beg him and his friends to play. And as usual, they slap me upside the head and tell me to get out--I'd run crying to my mommy about it. Until one day, my mommy brought these home from a garage sale--
To say the least, I have been gaming every since then.
For me it was playing Defender of the Crown on our Amiga 2000. SNES level graphics back in the late 80s. Good times.
i played casually on the NES granted i was like 5yo when i got it and playing mk 1 and street fighter 2 really got me into gaming then snes came! it was heaven...
Playing Pitfall on my brothers Atari 2600, then my mum and dad bless them made one of the choices ever, they got me a NES with was bundeled with Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt and a few other games which included Mega Man 2 and that was it, that would have been 20 years ago this Christmas!
I was into games a lot when since I was very young.. NES and Snes were a big part of my childhood, then ps1 and n64 gen Iplayed a lot too but I started playing football so I kinda stopped for a while, I got a ps2 and a gamecube but i really didnt played them much, only got certain titles (i ddint played god of war until the psp version).. Then in college I gotthis nasty knee injury tryin' to cut block a fella and really got time to get into my recently bought xbox 360 and since then I gradually started playing more and more until I could proudly call myself a gamer again...
The first time I ever played a games console was my parents NES when I was very young, and it all went from there.
Both my mum and my dad were both addicted to Super Mario Bros. at the time, actually. :P
I started on the SNES but when I played Goldeneye at my friends house I think that started something big.
In 85 or 86 we got a NES for Christmas for the "family". We did have an Atari before that, but I never really played it. I think I was in 2nd grade when we got the NES. It was over from there.
